My name is Cori,
Thank you for meditating with me.
During this meditation we're going to drop into our heart space together.
Whenever I'm feeling like I need to be in a good place,
A place where I see the world through compassionate,
Kind,
Understanding eyes,
I drop into my heart space.
That way I'm not in my head,
I'm not too much in my physical.
In my heart space I feel closer to my higher self,
Closer to source,
To God,
Whatever you want to call it.
But if I want to be in my truth,
Then I normally find that in my heart space.
So if you can sit straight please,
Straighten your spine,
Relax your shoulders,
Soften your jaw and close down your eyes.
Start to slow down your breathing,
Calming your body at the same time,
Slowing down your mind,
Your thoughts.
Put your focus on your breath.
In your mind's eye,
Start to see your breath flowing down into the center of your chest.
Breathing down into your heart space,
Down into your heart chakra.
Focus on the feeling of fullness as your chest expands with your breath.
So feel your ribs move and lift so that you can get connection to your breath.
You breathe in and you feel this fullness in your chest area.
When you breathe out it's also a physical feeling of retracting,
Emptying,
As if your chest is pulling back towards your spine.
You inhale and there's a movement forward,
An expansion of the ribs,
The chest.
You exhale and there's a falling,
Softening,
Retreating sensation that happens in your chest.
Now get more specific with your breath and breathe in,
Into that green central point in the middle of your chest.
You can start to visualize your heart chakra like a lotus flower,
A green lotus flower.
And every time you breathe in,
Your flower expands and grows.
And every time you breathe out,
You soften.
You let go of any tension and stress.
You want to start to feel an expansion in your chest,
As if every time you breathe in,
You're taking in source,
Light,
Love,
And it's starting to fill your chest area.
Your heart chakra is starting to activate more and more with every breath.
Imagine that this green light in the middle of your chest is such a welcoming,
Warm,
Special place and the energy that is activated there is so loving and kind.
It's starting to vibrate with all of the highest divine energy there in the middle of your chest.
You're filling your being with this beautiful,
Green,
Heartwarming energy.
And as you do so,
You notice the rest of your body expanding and opening,
As if you're calling out to the light to come and shine down on you.
You're ready to receive its guidance,
Its brilliance.
You're ready to absorb all that is good in the world and make that who you are.
Keep breathing,
Bringing your attention to your breath going right there in the center of your chest,
Opening,
Expanding you more and more.
You'll notice that you feel very peaceful and calm,
Very centered and balanced,
Like you could take on the world.
And so it is.
Keep this feeling with you all day if you can,
And if not,
Just drop straight back into your heart.
Take some breaths into your heart space and you'll find yourself falling quickly back into that beautiful place that feels just like home.
