Hello,
My name is Kari and during this meditation,
Me and you are just going to breathe together.
Maybe it's been one of those days,
Maybe you're having a moment,
Maybe you just need to sit down and check in with yourself.
Take a second to be guided into some calm breaths so that you can find some balance,
A little bit of peace and bring yourself back into some kind of harmony so that you feel good moving forward.
Wherever you are,
You don't have to close your eyes,
You don't have to sit up straight,
You can be in the car or at work,
Just try and soften your body.
What I mean by that is relax your shoulders,
Let them drop lower away from your ears,
Relax your jaw,
See if you can breathe into your face and just soften the muscles in your face,
Your cheeks,
Around your eyes,
Let everything droop a little bit.
If it's appropriate,
You can close your eyes,
Just let go of the outside world,
But if not imagine that you're closing down imaginary curtains,
You're pulling into your own body into a quiet space and you're going to focus,
Just purely focus on your breathing.
Taking a breath in through your nose,
See if you can make it long and slow.
And then breathe out through your nose,
Long and slow,
Keeping a similar pace.
I'm going to try and breathe in for the count of four,
You can do that along with me.
So breathe in,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold it,
Breathe out,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold it,
Breathe in,
Hold,
Breathe out,
Hold,
Breathe in,
Hold,
Breathe out,

Just keep breathing just like that.
And as you breathe,
Start to imagine that your breath is bringing in some relaxation,
Bringing relaxation down into your body,
Down into your muscles,
Throughout your cells,
Your blood,
Travelling through your system,
Changing the frequency of your body,
Making everything soften and relax.
And as you exhale,
Set an intention on your out breath that you're releasing any of the stresses or tension,
Negativity,
Whatever energy or emotion brought you into need in this meditation.
Let's imagine that we're just breathing it out together.
Breathing in this beautiful,
Calm relaxation.
Breathing out tension,
Stress,
Any kind of discomfort.
Checking again with your body,
Feel the back of your neck,
See if you can relax your abdomen,
Let go of any tension you might be holding in the centre of your being,
In your tummy.
On your next exhale,
Purposefully relax your stomach as you breathe out.
Everything is good,
All is well.

Your breath is such a wonderful,
Magical thing that can do that for you.
Sending signals to the brain,
Sending signals to the heart,
Sending signals to your parasympathetic nervous system that all is well,
The breath is nice and slow.
Feeling a sense of calm and peace throughout your entire body now.
