This video explains an accessible somatic awareness practice designed for anyone carrying chronic tension or pain who is looking for permanent release. Releasing chronic tension can prove challenging, you might have tried stretching, massage and other somatic methods that provide temporary relief but frustratingly the tension just returns. This method is informed by the understanding that chronic tension is an overactive safety mechanism, which explains why it doesn't release itself easily. By taking a gradual approach the release of tension is slow but permanent. In this video I gently encourage you to safely let go of a single percentage of your chronic bodily tension, by gradually 'microdosing' this tension release the body feels safe to begin reducing it's self-protective armoring, establishing a permanent baseline of less tension and pain. This is a method of chronic tension release and chronic pain reduction inspired by Emma McAdam and a little bit of Tantra.
