Welcome to Community Mindfulness Project's five-minute loving-kindness break,

Allowing the eyelids to slide down all of the way or partway over the eyes.

And we'll invite the bell to serve as a welcome mat into our practice,

Holding our attention on the sound of the bell as we anchor ourselves in the present moment.

And beginning to sense into the body,

Noticing any sensations that are present anywhere in the body,

Just observing with some curiosity and a sense of exploration,

And really a sense of care.

And now inviting you to bring to mind a dear loved one,

Either their image or a sense of their presence,

And offering them a wish for their well-being.

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be safe,

May you feel loved.

Allowing that wish to really spread throughout the body and extend outward toward them.

And now bringing to mind someone whose path you may have crossed at some point today,

Someone you may not know at all,

And offering to them the same heartfelt wish of love.

May you be well,

May you be happy,

May you be safe,

May you feel loved.

And if you like,

Just repeating these phrases,

Offering them as a gift to this person.

And now bringing to mind yourself and offering to yourself these same wishes for well-being.

May I be well,

May I be happy,

May I be safe,

May I feel loved.

Repeating these phrases and offering them as a gift.

And now extending this wish for well-being out to all beings everywhere.

May we all be well,

May we all be happy,

May we all be safe,

May we all feel loved,

May we all live in peace.

Sending that wish out to all beings everywhere.
