The morning breaks, The world is still, A quiet breath, A gentle will. The day unfolds, Yet here I stand, With grounded heart and open hand. The sunlight climbs, The hours flow, Through shifting pace, Through ebb and glow. I pause within the moving stream and hold a moment, Clear and clean. The midday noise, The crowded air, I meet it all with steady care. Not to resist, Nor turn away, But greet what comes, Then let it stay. When evening leans on dusty skies, The colours fade, The soft light dies. I gather calm where shadows fall, A deeper hush beneath it all. And as the night draws gently near, I breathe in peace, Release the year. No need to reach, No need to roam, The quiet now becomes my home.
