Hello and welcome.
If you've arrived here feeling unsettled,
Afraid or caught in a swirl of emotion,
You are not doing anything wrong.
And nothing needs fixing before we begin.
Let's take a moment to land together.
You don't have to calm down.
You don't have to clear your mind.
Just notice that you are here,
Now.
Let your awareness drop gently into the body.
Feel the contact points,
Your feet on the floor,
Your back against the chair,
Or the weight of your body being held.
Notice the breath.
Not to change it,
But simply to feel it.
Air coming in and out again.
In this space,
There is nothing to manage.
No goal to reach,
No technique to get right.
Just you,
Notice it.
You may feel fear in the body right now,
Tightness,
Tension,
Shakiness.
It's okay.
There is room for all of it here.
Fear is something we all feel.
But fear is not who you are.
Fear is made of thought,
Thought that looks and feels very real in the moment.
But like all thought,
It moves.
It comes and goes.
You are the space it moves through.
You don't have to fight fear.
You don't have to get rid of it.
You can let it pass.
And even if it lingers,
You can still be okay.
Because your okayness doesn't depend on the absence of fear.
It comes from something much deeper.
From your true nature.
From the part of you that has never been broken or lost.
From the peace that lives beneath the noise.
Sometimes,
We forget this.
We get caught in the speed of the mind,
The story it spins.
And we think fear means something's wrong.
But what if that isn't true?
What if fear is just a cloud in the sky?
Loud and convincing,
Yes.
But still just passing weather.
What if it doesn't mean you're unsafe?
Or failing or broken?
What if it just means you're alive and thought is moving through?
Take another breath now.
Feel the body again.
No need to escape what's here.
Just feel your presence.
Let fear be what it is.
A sensation.
A movement.
A visitor.
Not a truth.
You don't have to push it out the door.
You don't have to figure it out.
You can just let it pass.
There's a quiet underneath it all.
Even when the storm is loud.
There's wisdom here.
Not in effort,
But in stillness.
You may notice,
Even now,
That you're okay.
Maybe just for a moment.
Maybe more.
That's enough.
That's what's true.
You are not your fear.
You are not the thought.
You are the one who sees it.
And in that seeing,
Peace returns all on its own.
There's nothing you need to do.
Just let fear pass through.
And when it rises again,
As it may,
You can remember.
This is a wave.
Not the ocean.
A cloud.
Not the sky.
A visitor.
Not your home.
Let the breath come.
Let the breath go.
Let fear pass through.
You are still here.
And all is well.
