Welcome.
This is a short space to settle when stress feels loud.
Take a gentle breath in and a slow breath out.
Let the body begin to soften into presence.
Notice the support beneath you.
Feel the steadiness of the ground,
The chair,
The surface that is holding you.
Just for now,
You do not need to hold yourself up.
Allow another slow inhale and soft exhale.
Stress often looks like it comes from circumstances,
Deadlines,
Conversations,
Demands.
But from a three principles perspective,
Stress is thought created.
It arises from the stories moving through the mind in this moment.
You are not your thoughts.
You are the one who notices them.
Imagine thought like clouds in the sky.
They come,
They change shape,
They move on.
Stress builds when we believe the clouds are permanent.
But like weather,
Thought always shifts.
Breathe into your body.
Inhale,
Feeling the chest rise.
Exhale,
Letting the shoulders drop.
Inhale,
A little more space.
Exhale,
A little more ease.
Just bring a little attention to where stress shows up.
Perhaps in the jaw,
Or the chest,
Or the stomach.
Let breath move gently into that space.
Not to fix,
Only to notice,
Only to soften.
Even in the middle of stress,
Your calm is untouched.
It is the ground beneath the weather.
It is your true nature.
Take a few slower breaths now.
Let them arrive naturally.
Let them leave naturally.
There is no effort here.
Rest in this knowing.
Stress does not define you.
It is a passing experience.
You are the awareness that holds it all.
When you are ready to re-enter your day,
Remember that you can return here anytime.
With a breath.
With a pause.
With the simple noticing of presence.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for remembering your innate calm.
