Take a moment to settle.
Let the weight of your body drop into wherever you are sitting or lying.
And notice now,
What did you bring with you into this practice?
What thought?
What feelings?
What little worries might have tucked themselves into your pockets just before you arrived?
Just notice them.
We're not trying to fix them right now.
We're just setting them down for a moment.
Take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And a long,
Slow breath.
Out through the mouth.
Let that be a signal to your nervous system.
I can rest now.
Two more of those.
Long,
Slow.
In breath.
Long,
Slow.
Oh,
Right.
Long,
Slow in-breath.
Long.
Slow outbreath And here you are now.
Arrived.
And ready.
Within us,
We have such a curious mind.
We have a storyteller.
We have a student that never stops asking why or when or how.
There are many versions or voices within us.
There's a voice that speaks our truth out loud.
And there's a quiet inner voice that knows things before we can even find the words.
This practice is not about silencing parts of us.
It's about listening to.
What you need to hear.
And as we move into this meditation.
Let yourself be gently curious of what arises.
Be open and interested in what the next moment might reveal.
Now we deepen the breath to help clear the mental chatter and open up this channel of really listening.
A simple four-part breath.
We breathe into the belly first.
Then we feel the ribs expand.
Then we top the breath up into the chest.
Then we release.
Back down to the belly.
So we breathe to the belly,
We breathe into the ribs,
Breathe into the chest,
Heart,
And then release and feel that release roll down back to the belly.
Breathing to the belly,
Breathing into the ribs,
Breathing into the heart.
And letting it roll out back down to the belly.
Breathing into the belly.
Expanding into the ribs,
Breathing into the heart.
And releasing all the way back down to the belly.
One more time,
Breathing to the belly,
Breathing into the ribs,
Breathing into the heart.
And releasing all the way back down to the belly.
And then let your breath return to its natural rhythm.
And maybe the mind has quietened just a little.
Notice the spaciousness that breath creates.
And that space,
That's where we're going in this practice.
Close your eyes now if they aren't already.
See yourself standing in a beautiful moonlit garden.
The sky above you is deep,
Dark and full of stars.
The air is warm here.
And there is the faintest breeze.
And it carries something within it,
A feeling.
And knowing.
Like something new is already on its way to you.
And you walk along the path and through the garden.
And as you walk lightly,
You become aware that you are not alone here.
Walking either beside you or maybe slightly ahead or just behind.
There's another version of you.
Your inner twin.
Your wisest self.
The part of you that holds all the answers that your mind is still searching for.
Turn to look at them.
Notice how they look.
How they carry themselves.
With ease,
With grace.
With a quiet confidence.
And you do recognise this as your own.
Because this is you.
And they smile at you.
And you smile back and that smile is everything.
It's every gift you already have.
Every dream that's already on its way.
Every truth that you have been edging closer to.
And they reach out and take your hands.
And place something in them.
It might be a gift.
A word.
An image,
A feeling,
A color.
It's meant for you.
Receive it.
It's yours.
Now ask you in a twin.
What voice within me is ready to speak?
And listen with your heart.
Ask your inner twin to lightly place their hands upon your head to still the chatter of the mind.
To give you peace.
And listen with your heart.
And every time the mind.
Starts to chatter.
To distract you.
Gaze back to the smile.
Of your inner twin.
And create space within your head once more.
What is it that you need to hear now in this moment?
What is it time for me to finally say out loud?
And if you can,
Place a hand on your heart.
And let your soul finish these sentences for you.
I am ready for.
I am beginning to.
.
.
I choose.
And think of the seeds that you are planting now.
Give them a name.
What energy are you inviting in to your journey now?
Plant those seeds in your heart.
The universe is listening.
But most importantly,
You are listening.
Give thanks to this wise,
Knowing part of you,
The inner voice of truth and wisdom.
Know that you're in a twin.
Your soul.
You.
Always with you,
Always available.
Always just one big quiet breath away.
You came into this practice.
Seeking clarity.
And we close this practice.
As someone who remembered.
Remember that the wisdom that you are searching for outside was always within you.
The voice you've been looking for.
The answers has been yours all along.
Thank you for being here in this practice.
Thank you for choosing yourself.
And remember what you have always known.
From my light,
My heart,
My soul to yours.
Namaste.
Namaste.
