This too is temporary.
Wherever you have chosen to rest,
Let your body be held.
Let yourself be supported.
Close your eyes softly or settle your gaze to one still point.
Inhale,
The breath comes in.
Exhale,
The breath goes.
Exhale,
The breath goes.
The breath itself reminds us that everything is temporary.
The breath comes in and the breath goes.
Things are always changing and things are always moving.
Rarely stay still for long.
And even in those moments where it feels that life has paused,
And even in those moments where life feels heavy,
And in those moments where it feels like nothing is happening at all,
Things are still moving.
Things are still changing.
And life goes on and the world keeps turning.
And the seasons keep changing.
Winter doesn't stay cold and barren forever.
And the spring flowers don't stay blooming for every day.
Autumn does not stay clinging to the leaves.
It trusts and it lets them go.
And the heat of summer doesn't stick around.
Each season trusts its timing.
And you are no different.
If you are in a difficult season right now,
A season of uncertainty,
A season of loss,
Or exhaustion,
Or grief,
Let it just be a season.
For seasons pass.
They always do.
Storms gather.
Storms break.
Storms clear.
And what remains is stronger for having stood through them.
And sometimes,
Sometimes in life we feel not just stuck but pulled backwards.
Plans unravel and energy drops.
Doors close and things don't move as quickly as we hoped.
And it can feel like a failure or a regression,
Like being left behind.
But I urge you to think of it more like a bow and an arrow.
And before an arrow flies forward confidently,
It must first be pulled back.
It must be pulled in the opposite direction,
Held in tension,
Stretched further than feels comfortable.
But this isn't to cause harm,
This isn't to punish,
But this is to give it power.
And that pullback is not the end of the journey,
But rather a gathering of momentum.
And if you are in a season or a chapter of your story where you feel you're being drawn backwards,
You're being pulled backwards into reflection or discomfort,
Or into old emotions rising,
Perhaps life is not stopping you.
Perhaps life is actually aligning you and strengthening you.
For what comes next?
The bow,
It does not apologize for the tension it causes.
And the arrow does not doubt the direction.
There is a sacred pause of stillness.
And then comes the release.
Then comes the flying and the soaring and the lifting.
Place your hand on your heart and remind yourself this,
Everything is temporary.
This season you are in is strengthening you.
This season you are in is preparing you.
And this too will pass.
Nothing stays the same.
Not the joy,
Not the sorrow,
Not the confusion,
Nor the clarity.
Every chapter turns to the next.
Every night softens into morning.
Every winter gives way to the light.
And you,
Beautiful soul,
You have already survived so much.
And you have already grown in ways you once thought impossible.
You are not stuck.
This is not forever.
And even if you don't realize it,
You are in a gentle motion,
Even now.
So perhaps the tension or the energy you feel right now is this moment,
This sacred pause before your flight.
The inhale before the exhale.
The drawing back before the launch.
Trust this now.
You don't need to force your becoming.
You only need to allow it.
Breathe in gently.
Breathe out slowly.
Life moves on.
Seasons turn.
Storms pass.
And you will rise from this chapter.
Not untouched,
But wiser.
And not unscarred,
But stronger.
Not unchanged,
But expanded.
For now,
Rest in the knowing that nothing stays the same.
And that includes the hard parts.
Seasons change.
Storms pass.
And this chapter is temporary.
I hold you in my heart.
And I ask you to hold yourself in compassion too.
From my light,
I see and feel and connect to your light.
Namaste.
