Beginning by finding a comfortable posture.
So,
Whatever helps you to feel awake,
Alert,
Comfortable,
Steady.
Noticing the weight of your body in this posture.
Noticing also any tension in your body and seeing if you can allow that tension to soften.
Starting to let go of the thinking mind as we begin to tune into the present.
So,
Bringing your attention now to sensations in the body.
So,
Wherever your attention rests,
Just allowing yourself to observe how that sensation manifests from one moment to the next.
So,
Bringing a sense of curiosity into your experience.
Maybe it's sensations in your stomach area or in your shoulders or hands.
Wherever you notice it,
Just allowing those sensations to bring you into a space of non-doing.
Simply through your own awareness of them.
Now tuning into your emotions,
What is here emotionally.
And as you become aware of your emotions,
Seeing if you can meet them with an openness.
Just letting them be exactly as they are.
So,
Maybe labelling the emotion and then just observing how it's manifesting in your body,
In your energy.
And so,
Just like the sensations in the body,
The physical sensations can bring us into presence,
So too can our emotions.
Simply by paying attention to them,
By allowing them.
And finally,
Tuning into the breath.
So,
Without changing it,
Without making it be anything other than it is,
Just simply tuning into it.
So,
Tuning into the inhale.
Tuning into the exhale.
So,
Letting each breath bring you into presence.
Bring you into a state of being with yourself.
Each exhale inviting you to let go,
To simply let things be as they are.
Do remember that your job isn't to do,
Your job is to be who you are.
Each breath reminding you to let go,
To allow things to be as they are.
Ending the practice with an intention to bring this openness,
Bring this acceptance into the next few moments of your day.
