This meditation is designed to help you cut through the noise of your thoughts and access the wisdom and guidance of your higher self or your future self to help you flow with ease along your path.
Start by finding a comfortable posture that allows you to feel stable and alert.
Closing your eyes and settling into your body.
Taking some long,
Deep breaths.
As you breathe out just letting go of any tension.
Repeating that a few times.
Taking some deep breaths.
Letting go of any tension.
Allowing yourself to descend into a very deep,
Safe place.
Noticing any thoughts that may have emerged and simply unhooking your attention from them.
Continuing to breathe consciously as you prepare for this visualization.
Imagine that you are being lifted into space.
Higher and higher you go.
Above your home.
Above your town.
Above your country.
Your continent.
Until you are completely surrounded by cosmic space.
Imagine you see the earth below you and you watch as it spins rapidly.
10,
20 or even 30 years have gone by in a matter of seconds.
Then suddenly the speed returns to normal.
It's so slow that you can't discern the movement of the earth any longer.
Now imagine that you are gently descending back to earth.
You are being transported to the future.
Lower and lower.
Now you are in your wise future self's home.
Imagine the room and the surroundings.
Imagine the room and the surroundings,
The furniture,
The decor.
And then there's you,
Your wise future self.
How do you look?
Clothing?
Hair?
What do you notice?
And what do you sense as you look into your future self's eyes?
Kindness?
Calm?
Strength?
Now imagine sitting down next to your wise,
Older future self with a cup of tea or a cold drink.
Feel yourself taking in their loving presence.
Now take some moments to recall any current challenges you're having.
Now as you look at your older self,
Feel yourself softening.
Feel yourself opening up.
Feel yourself creating space for answers,
Guidance to flow to you.
And now imagine asking your older self the following questions.
And as you wait for the answer,
Feeling into your body,
Being open to receiving the answer from deep inside.
And also being okay if you don't immediately receive one.

Feeling into your body,
Opening up to receiving the answers.
Noticing what has emerged.
See yourself thanking your older self.
Leaving the house.
And gently ascending back up.
Above the house.
Above the town.
Above the country.
Until you are once again surrounded by the blackness of cosmic space.
Watching the world spin backwards rapidly.
And then stopping.
And as that happens you feel yourself gently descending back down to earth.
Back to your country.
Back to your town.
And suddenly,
Back in the room that you started this practice in.
Back into your current reality.
Slowly opening your eyes.
Breathing consciously.
Taking in your surroundings.
Noticing how you feel.
Noticing what you know as a result of that journey.
So I would strongly recommend that you grab a journal and just jot down any thoughts,
Anything you noticed at all from that practice.
And remembering that your wise,
Loving,
Future self is here for you.
