Find a comfortable position,
Whether you're lying down on your back or sitting in a relaxed posture.
Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely and exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension in your body.
As you continue to breathe slowly and deeply,
Allow yourself to become aware of any areas of tension or discomfort in your body.
Then,
With each exhale,
Imagine releasing that tension,
Allowing the muscles to soften and relax.
Now,
Bring your attention to the sensations of your body against the surface that you're resting on.
Feel the support beneath you,
Grounding you to the present moment.
Allow yourself to surrender to this support,
Letting go of any need to control or to hold on.
As you breathe in,
Imagine a sense of calm and relaxation flowing into your body,
Filling you with a soothing warmth.
As you exhale,
Imagine releasing any worries,
Stress or tension that may have been keeping you awake.
With each breath,
Feel yourself sinking deeper into a wonderful state of relaxation.
Notice the rhythm of your breath,
The gentle rise and fall of your chest or your belly.
Let this rhythm guide you into a state of inner peace and tranquility.
Now,
Bring your awareness to your thoughts.
If your mind begins to wander or become restless,
Simply acknowledge those thoughts without making judgment and gently guide your focus back to your breath.
Allow your breath to be your anchor,
Keeping you rooted in the present moment.
As you continue to breathe deeply and evenly,
Picture yourself standing on the surface of a planet surrounded by darkness and silence.
Above you stretches an infinite expanse of space,
Filled with countless stars,
Galaxies and the Milky Way.
Take a moment to observe the vastness of the cosmos around you.
Feel the weightlessness of your body as you gaze up at the swirling patterns of light and colour in the distance.
Allow yourself to be completely present in this moment,
Letting go of worries or distractions from the outside world.
Imagine a sense of calmness washing over you,
Like a gentle wave.

As if you are floating effortlessly among the stars.
Now imagine that you are slowly sinking into the depths of the cosmos.
Slowly beginning to drift away from the surface of the planet.
Rising up into the night sky,
Feeling the coolness of the space around you as you soar through the cosmos.
Surrounded by the beauty and vastness of the universe.
As you journey deeper into space,
Allow yourself to let go of any remaining tension or stress.
Picture all of your worries and concerns as tiny specks of light fading away into the darkness as you leave them behind.
Continuing to breathe deeply and smoothly as you explore the wonders of the cosmos.
Notice the subtle shifts in colour and texture as you pass by distant stars and galaxies.
Each one a reminder of the beauty and complexity of the universe.
With each passing moment,
Feel yourself becoming more and more relaxed,
As if you are being cradled in the arms of the cosmos itself.

Knowing that you are safe and protected in this vast infinite expanse.
