So let's work with Kumbhaka today,
Which is pause after the exhalation.
We're going to start there.
So find a comfortable seat.
You can get your spine long and definitely make sure the body is comfortable enough that it's not a distraction to you.
And first let's begin just by finding our breath.
So maybe slightly deeper inhalations and exhalations.
Notice how long your inhalation and exhalation naturally are as you do that.
And begin to notice the pause after your exhalation.
However short or long that is,
Is absolutely fine.
Just notice the point where the exhalation turns towards the inhalation.
As you observe that moment,
You can purposely extend it just a little bit.
Noticing our inhales and our exhalation.
And then just pausing the breath for a moment or two and letting the mind really drop into that pause.
You'll notice maybe the pause extends itself and drop your mind there.
As you do this,
You can begin to ease any control you're having your breath.
Allow your mind to just drop into that pause after the exhalation,
However naturally long or short it may be.
And if you're finding it at all difficult to focus on that,
Add a mantra as you drop into the pause.
Just say Aum to yourself and then feel every cell in your body relax as you drop your mind into that pause.
Aum Shanti Shanti Shanti Shanti Shanti Shanti Shanti Bring your palms together in front of our hearts.
Owing to your own heart.
Stay.
