Allow your eyes to comfortably close.

As you do so,

Breathe out down to the ground.

Let the surface beneath your body become an extension of ground.

And sit back onto its support.

Sense down to the steady foundation of the ground below.

To solid ground.

On which everything rests.

Let it support you.

And give what you've brought with you here to the ground.

Put it all down on ground.

Put everything you've been carrying down on ground.

Ground is a vast,

Powerful resource.

Waiting for you to come home.

Allow your body to come home to ground and recharge itself.

Breathe the steadiness of ground up into your body.

And let the energy of the ground nourish you.

Breathe it into the very cells of your body.

Breathe it into your core.

The steady,

Quiet power of ground.

Let your body take as much as it needs.

As the body grounds and replenishes itself.

Allow the rest of you to gently open to the slow,

Steady vibration of ground.

Reminding you of the precious spaces in between doing.

Reminding you that everything is in process.

Reminding you to trust in the process.

And that ground is here with you.

Here for you.

Every step of the way.

Just as night turns to day,

Winter turns to spring,

And opens into summer.

You are a being in flow.

No experience wasted.

Everything transmutes.

Everything transforms in time.

Allow yourself to sense out to the natural world around you.

Up to the height of sky,

Way above.

And to the horizon stretching out all around you and beyond.

You can breathe from the horizons if you like.

You have all of this space for every level of your being to breathe.

And when you are ready.

Allow yourself to open to the natural world around you.

With its deep oceans and flowing rivers.

Rolling hills and high mountains.

Its lush meadows and forests.

The exquisite sunrises and sunsets.

Its fast skies and myriad of stars.

Flowers,

Fabulous animals,

And sounds of birdsong.

Know that you are part of this natural whole.

Every bit as miraculous and unique.

Every bit as important.

You have a special place within it.

Breathe in the vastness of sky to give you inner space.

Breathe in the power of the mountains for inner strength.

Breathe in the light and warmth of the sun to every part of you.

And when you are ready.

Feel the steady ground once more beneath you.

Sense it stretching out all around and ahead of you.

Know that the ground is here for you.

Every step of the way.

To steady,

Calm and support you.

The sky is here to give you space.

The sun to warm and light your way.

Birdsong and all of nature's beauty to lift your spirit and remind you that you too are special.

You too have worth.

Ground below,

Sky above,

With you on your journey.

And when you are ready,

You can draw this meditation to a close.
