Allow your eyes to comfortably close,
And breathe out in a long sigh down the full length of your body.
As you do so,
Allow your body to soften and begin to release what it's brought with it here.
Take your awareness down to where the weight of your body rests,
On the surface directly beneath it.
Surrender more of your body's weight to its support.
Notice the support beneath you is steady.
Notice the steadiness is here for you now.
Breathe down to the steadiness.
Breathe up from the steadiness.
Let it steady you.
Imagine the steadiness knows exactly how to support your body in all the right places,
And all the right ways.
Allow your body to soften into its support.
Become aware of the ebb and flow of your breath,
Without judging it.
Notice the movements your body makes as you breathe.
The expansion of the in-breath.
The release of the out-breath.
Become aware of the sensation as air enters and leaves your nostrils.
Notice the air is cool as it enters,
Warm as it leaves.
Notice your breathing in from the space around you,
And out into it.
Allow your breath to slow and lengthen.
Let everything be just as it is.
In your own time,
Notice the play of light and shade through your closed eyelids,
Right around your peripheral vision.
Become aware of the air touching your face and body.
Let it be there.
Dance out to either side of you,
To the furthest horizons and beyond.
Notice the spaciousness.
You have all of this space for you.
Light of sky above.
Horizons spreading ahead of you and all the way around you.
You can breathe from the farthest horizons if you wish.
Breathe the spaciousness into places within you that have got closed off.
Fall up,
Or something else.
Breathe the spaciousness into the you inside.
Take as much as you need.
As you sit back on the steadiness directly beneath your body,
Allow your mind to soften and sit back to rest on the steadiness along with the body.
And breathe the spaciousness into your mind.
Give your mind a sky bath.
As you sit back into the ebb and flow of your breath.
Imagine waves on a shoreline gently moving in and out.
Perhaps you can hear the sound as the waves slowly roll up the shore and back down again.
As each wave smooths the shore on its return to the ocean,
Breathe out all that your body is holding and no longer needs to carry.
Let it flow out into the ocean and away.
Breathe out all that the you inside has been carrying.
Let it flow out into the ocean and away.
Breathe out all the concerns and worries you've been carrying in your head.
Let them flow out into the ocean and away.
Breathe out anything else you no longer need to carry.
Let it flow out into the ocean and away.
In your own time,
Notice the sensation of air entering your nostrils and leaving.
Notice the air is cool as it enters,
Warm as it leaves.
Notice your breathing in from the space around you and out into it.
Notice the surface directly beneath your body.
Notice you are here in this moment and say the affirmation,
All is well.
