Looking back at your day meditation.

Sit or lie down and close your eyes.

Make sure that you're comfortable.

Then you go with your attention to your breath.

Just observe how your breath is in this moment.

If you feel that it's still a little high,

You can place a hand on your belly to help your breath get deeper.

When you're lying or sitting like this,

You feel that you become calmer and more and more relaxed.

Breathe slowly and deeply,

Feeling more and more relaxed.

Now imagine that you're walking on the beach.

You feel the sand under your feet and between your toes.

You feel grounded and connected to the earth.

You feel the salty smell of the sea tickling your nose and you feel the wind blowing through your hair.

You feel calm and relaxed.

Walking on the beach,

You think about your day.

You look back at what happened and what you did.

Now notice how you feel about your day.

Don't judge yourself,

Just observe your feeling.

Whatever the feeling is,

It's okay.

Everything is okay.

You are allowed to feel whatever feeling comes up.

You continue walking and you feel the soft sea breeze blowing around your body and head.

It's as if the wind is talking to you.

You hear it say.

Lovely soul,

Thank you for taking the time for this calm and relaxing moment.

It's great that you're taking such good care of yourself.

I just want to let you know that whatever happened today is okay.

You don't have to feel angry or upset or have any other bad feeling about your day.

What happened,

Happened.

You can't change that anymore.

You can only change the way you feel about it.

Accept what happened and move on.

There will be many new days that you can make amazing.

And maybe today wasn't as bad as you think.

Just look back at your day and for a moment just ignore the things that happened that you didn't like.

Just imagine they were not there.

And now look at the positive things of today.

Big and small,

Everything counts.

Every day has something positive in it,

So today as well.

Maybe someone smiled at you.

Maybe the sun made this day warm and bright.

Maybe someone was really friendly to you.

Maybe you made someone smile.

It doesn't matter how many things you think of.

Just notice there was something positive today.

Or maybe you find that your day was full of positive and joyful moments.

Everything is okay.

Everything is the way it is.

Then the wind stops talking.

You continue thinking about the positive moments of your day.

Enjoying the lovely feeling it gives you.

You realize that your day wasn't as bad as you thought.

You realize you had a lovely day today.

Feeling happy about your day,

You can slowly come back to the here and now.

Back to the place where you're lying or sitting.

You slowly start moving a little and when you're ready,

You open your eyes.

Loved this! Your perspective ( the wind said), really helped me to open my eyes to how I view my day. You see, I used to love my job, all the students and adults around me daily. Then administrative changed, and my world was turned upside down. It has been 2 years since that change, today because of you, I'm seeing the light, the smiles others give me and most of all, the smiles I put on others faces. Thank you so much for this! Tami

A great meditation to end a rough day or a day that might not have been as good as you would have liked. She helps you focus on the positive things that happened.

Very helpful meditation. Even on a day where you feel terrible, good things do happen, and it helps to be able to put this in mind, I am much relieved and relaxed after listening to Tatian.
