The disturbing emotion of attachment to someone causes us to lose peace of mind and self-control. With it, we exaggerate the good qualities of someone, such as their looks, and making the person into an object, we cling to them and do not want to let go. But with various meditation methods, we can overcome our attachment and develop a healthy relationship with the person.

Welcome everyone.

Please gently close your eyes and choose a posture that is most honouring to your body.

Remember no right or wrong,

No judgement.

When we listen close,

Our bodies know what we need.

Emotions are okay.

Our mind and bodies were developed to experience and navigate emotion.

Don't condemn your feelings no matter what they are.

We cannot avoid emotion.

Our only job is in how we react and interact with them.

When we experience something disturbing,

Don't look for a solution right away.

Just wait and observe without action.

Forcing is your friend.

Patient will help you understand the roots of emotion and suffering.

Your breath helps you pause and not react.

Posing is your friend.

When you question why,

Where,

What,

That means you are looking for the origin of the emotions.

What area is my thinking going?

Is there any attachment or expectations related to these emotions?

Asking good questions helps us understand the origin of our feelings.

When you have negative or sad memories,

Don't try to push them away.

That just creates more problems.

Looking at them with a little more loving kindness really helps.

Posing is your friend.

If we want to tame our emotions,

We have to be gentle with them.

Posing is our friend.

Together let's set the intention to give ourselves the space to pause and cultivate patience.

When you are ready,

Please open your eyes and commit to this practice.

May you be well.

May you be happy.

May you be peaceful.
