Beth Monaghan

I'm a certified meditation teacher and writer whose practice began as a search for relief — from chronic pain, anxiety, early trauma, and the weight of a demanding life. What I found was something larger: a way to be with experience rather than fight it. My teaching is rooted in Vipassana and the four foundations of mindfulness — body, emotions, thoughts, and the qualities that shape how we meet our lives. I completed my training through the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training Program (MMTCP) with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach, trained as a mindfulness mentor with Banyan, and as a trauma-sensitive mindfulness teacher with David Treleavan. I work with people carrying a lot — leaders, caregivers, activists, and anyone navigating difficulty, loss, or change. My meditations offer practices for grounding, awareness, working with emotions and thoughts, self-compassion, and finding what is good even in hard seasons. We are all learning how to be here.
