Hi,
This is Barb Attilati of Be Alive and Well,
And today's meditation is reflecting on your day.
So,
Whether it's the beginning of the day,
Middle,
The end of the day,
You can do this meditation.
So,
First just fall still with some nice,
Easy breaths and allow your body to become relaxed.
Feel the chair supporting you,
And in fact,
Allow your body to be supported by the chair or whatever you're sitting on.
Allow your tummy to relax and soften.
Maybe feel your shoulders melting away from your ears.
And if it's safe to close your eyes,
Please go ahead and do that.
Close your eyes and allow them to also relax.
And without focusing on anything specifically,
Allow your thoughts to roll through your mind on everything that you've done today,
Everything that you've experienced.
Be aware of all the different activities that you've done from the time you woke up today.
Reflect on all of the people that you've encountered in just this one day,
People that you've seen,
Those that you've talked to or communicated with in some way.
Just keep breathing,
Being aware of everything that you've experienced.
Wow,
The day isn't even over and you've done so much already.
So,
Breathe that in,
Acknowledge all that you've experienced.
And as you take a deep breath in and out,
Acknowledge yourself.
So just reflecting a little bit helps us to slow down and helps us to review,
Regroup,
Refresh a little bit.
And it also invites a greater awareness and appreciation.
So continue to reflect on your day when you're ready.
Open your eyes,
Gently move around a little bit and enjoy the rest of your wonderful day.
