Welcome to today's meditation.
Thank you for taking 10 minutes out of your busy day to enjoy a sunrise meditation with me.
Let us begin today by taking a comfortable seated position on the floor with your legs crossed or on a chair with your feet planted on the ground.
Stand up with your spine nice and tall,
Resting your palms facing upwards on your lap or on your knees.
We'll begin by closing our eyes.
Inhale and exhale.
With each exhale,
Envision your shoulders dropping away from your ears,
Releasing any tension or stress you're holding onto.
Take this opportunity to go inward and connect with your breath.
Inhale and exhale.
Let us welcome this beautiful new day that is upon us with an open heart.
Breathing in calm,
Exhaling any worries.
Breathing in joy.
Exhaling sadness.
Breathing in love.
Breathing anger.
Breathe it in and let it go.
Feel where the breath is,
Your chest rising,
Your ribcage expanding,
Filling your belly.
Inhale and exhale.
As you continue to breathe,
Open your heart to gratitude.
Thank yourself for gifting these 10 minutes this morning.
Thank yourself for taking this time to disconnect and reconnect to yourself.
Breathe in and breathe out.
Give yourself permission and allow yourself to go deeper into a meditative state.
Whenever you catch your mind beginning to think of the future or any worries,
Bring it back to your breath,
To this present moment.
Inhale and exhale.
Let any thoughts that may enter your mind float like clouds in the background.
And in this state of true awareness,
Let us gently welcome a morning mantra to help guide us through our day to come.

Remember this beautiful peaceful energy is within you at all times.
And when you're ready,
You can slowly open your eyes.
