This 15-minute guided meditation will transport you to your peaceful place. Through the use of mindful breathing, a body scan, and entering a deep meditative state we will visualise our own peaceful paradise. Let go of any stress or worries as you concentrate on your breathing and visualise your own peaceful place.

Welcome to your guided meditation to transport you to your peaceful place.

The purpose of this relaxation meditation is to relax your mind and guide you to your own peaceful,

Safe place.

This visualization will help you calm and relax your mind,

Restoring a sense of peace.

I'd like you to find a place free from any distraction.

Set aside a few moments so you can relax without having anything else to focus on.

Take a comfortable seated position on the ground with your knees crossed or on a chair with your feet firmly planted on the ground.

Please gently close your eyes.

Allow your hands to fall on your lap or your knees.

For the next few moments we will focus on calming our mind by focusing solely on our breathing.

Allow your breathing to centre and relax you,

Creating a sense of peace.

Take a deep breath in,

Feel your belly rise,

Hold for a moment and let it out.

Inhale,

Hold and out.

As you continue to breathe slowly and peacefully,

You allow the tension to leave your body,

Feeling your muscles relax and become more comfortable with each breath.

Breathe in,

Hold and out.

Inhale,

Hold and out.

Inhale,

Hold and out.

Inhale,

Hold and out.

Continue to breathe slowly and deeply,

Feeling more comfortable with each breath.

Let the rate of your breathing become gradually slower as your body relaxes.

Let it out.

Now begin to create a picture in your mind of a place where you can completely relax.

Your own piece of paradise.

What does your paradise need to be like in order for you to feel calm and relaxed?

Where is this peaceful paradise?

Maybe you've visited this place before.

You might envision somewhere outdoors or indoors.

It may be a small place or a large one.

Create an image of this peaceful place.

As you explore your peaceful place,

Notice more details about your paradise.

Who is in this place?

Maybe you're alone or perhaps you're with someone else.

Are there other people present,

Animals,

Birds?

Imagine who is at your place,

Whether it is only you or if you have company.

Imagine even more details about your surroundings.

Focus now on the relaxing sounds around you and your peaceful place.

Do you hear wind rustling leaves?

Waves crashing?

Birds flying above you?

Or people chattering?

Just listen.

Now imagine any tastes and smells your place has to offer.

Breathe in.

Imagine the sensations of touch,

Including the temperature,

Any breeze that may be present,

The surface you are on.

Imagine the details of this calming place in your mind.

Focus now on the sights of your place.

Colours,

Shapes,

Objects,

Plants,

Water.

All of the beautiful things that make your place enjoyable.

Now focus on yourself in your own paradise.

What are you doing in this place?

Perhaps you are just sitting,

Enjoying your paradise,

Relaxing.

Maybe you are walking around,

Swimming or doing an activity.

As you are in your peaceful place,

Notice how you feel.

Calm,

Relaxed,

Safe.

In this paradise of yours you have no worries,

No cares and no concerns.

Here you can simply rejuvenate,

Relax and enjoy just being.

Enjoy your peaceful place for a few moments more.

Memorize the sights,

Sounds and sensations around you.

Know that you can return to this place in your mind whenever you need a break.

You can take a mental vacation whenever you need.

Remember this moment you are imagining now and that you can picture this peaceful paradise again the next time you need to relax.

File away this imaginary place in your mind,

Waiting for you the next time you need it.

Everybody is just continuing to carry on our service to this place.

You Now I'd like you to return your attention back to the feeling of your body on your seat Turn your attention back to the present moment Notice your surroundings as your body and mind Return to their usual level of alertness and wakefulness Remember you can return to this state of peace whenever you like You have the ability to keep with you the feeling of calm from your peaceful place As you return to your everyday life Thank you for dedicating this time to go inward And when you're ready you can slowly open your eyes Keep growing and loving.
