This meditation has been lovingly crafted to help you create a state of relaxation,

To quiet and calm the mind,

And to release yourself from all chronic,

Unconscious worry and anxiety.

When we allow the mind to over-evaluate and analyze,

We become locked in mental activity,

Continuously replaying,

Rethinking and re-analyzing life events,

And this leads to chronic suffering and anxiety.

This meditation will powerfully retrain your everyday conscious mind to move towards the more productive state of flow,

Roundedness,

Peace and security.

So let us begin,

Positioning yourself in a safe place,

Where you are unlikely to be disturbed for the next little while,

Closing your eyes and allowing your awareness to move into the body,

Relaxing the body and allowing your body to begin to soften.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Releasing all tension in the body.

Breathing in and breathing out,

Relaxing the jaw,

Relax the eyes,

Allowing the eyes to naturally and easily rest back into their sockets.

Being aware of the brain and allowing the brain to gently unscrunch.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Releasing all tension from the brain.

Being aware of the shoulders and allowing your shoulders to relax.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Releasing all of the burdens that you carry on your shoulders.

Bringing your awareness to the belly and allow the belly to soften.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Releasing all tension from the belly.

Allowing the belly to naturally and easily come into a state of relaxation.

When we soften the belly,

We send strong signals to the brain,

That we are safe and secure and it allows our mind to begin to relax.

Breathing in,

Breathing out and inviting your outward breath to now begin to descend into the belly.

As you soften the belly,

You create space for the outward breath to descend into.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Allowing the outward breath to naturally fall now into the belly,

Descending easily,

Happily.

Breathing in and breathing out,

Releasing all tension from your body and mind.

Allowing your body to relax now into the support of the chair or the floor and feeling that support coming up underneath you,

Really resting into that support.

You are safe,

You are safe.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Releasing all remaining tension and allowing your body to really relax,

Let go,

Let go.

You are safe.

Taking your awareness now to the base of your spine and imagining roots like a tree beginning to grow out of the base of your spine and feel them happily and joyfully plunging into the earth,

Safely,

Naturally and easily.

Feel your roots descending down through Mother Earth,

Plunging deeper and deeper and deeper and allowing your roots to flow deep into the core of the earth,

Into the heart of Mother Earth and feeling your roots connecting there,

Into the heart of Mother Earth,

Feeling the heart of Mother Earth acting like a magnetic force of love,

Security,

Safety and stillness and allowing your roots to naturally and easily connect there now.

Feeling your roots plugging into Mother Earth,

Feel them connecting with the heart chakra of the earth and as you connect,

You connect to the vibration of safety,

Security and stillness.

Breathing in,

You are safe.

Breathing out,

Releasing all fear,

Trepidation and worry.

Breathing in and breathing out,

You are now grounded and secure.

Feel yourself fully connected to the heart of Mother Earth,

Feeling her heart beating and the vibration pouring upwards like ripples of energy,

Feeding you with the vibration of love,

Wholeness,

Safety,

Groundedness and connection.

Breathing in and breathing out,

Allowing yourself to feel grounded and safe,

Firmly plugged in to Mother Earth,

Imagining now roots of trees all around you,

Gently and lovingly wrapping their roots around yours in the earth,

Bringing you a loving,

Gentle support for your body,

Your mind and your energy field.

Allowing yourself to be fed by this peaceful,

Supportive,

Loving energy now.

Every time you breathe in,

Imagine that you can breathe the vibration of peace,

Stillness and support up through your roots now,

Up through all the layers of the earth.

Breathing in and receiving this wonderful energy,

This infinite,

Rich,

Abundant source of energy.

Feel it flowing upwards,

Up through the feet and the base of your spine and allow it to flow through your whole body,

Filling your whole body with a sense of peace,

Calmness,

Stillness and support.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

All is well.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Letting go,

Letting go.

Breathing in,

You are safe.

Breathing out,

Releasing any remaining tension from the body,

The mind and the energy field.

Release,

Release and now maintaining your awareness in the earth and on your roots,

Feeling your body safe,

Safely connected to mother earth,

Protected,

Warm and loved and allowing yourself to inhabit your body,

Feeling your body naturally and easily becoming more calm,

Relaxed and feeling more at ease.

Taking your awareness now to your mind,

Being aware of any remaining thoughts or mental chatter.

Breathing in and as you breathe out,

Release the thoughts,

Releasing the mental chatter,

Letting go of the story,

Becoming aware of the temporary nature of thought.

There is no longer any need for you to hold on to this.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Releasing thought,

Understanding that thoughts come and go,

Like the rise and fall of the breath,

Allowing them to rise now and to be released with the outward breath.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Releasing,

Being aware now of the thoughts beginning to move further away from you,

Allowing your mind more space,

Allowing the space to increase between your mind and the thought,

Imagining now all of the thoughts simply floating out of your mind,

All of the activity being released with the outward breath.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Allowing the mental activity to move away,

To float away,

To be released and feel yourself becoming more and more detached from these thoughts,

This vibration.

Breathing in and breathing out,

Releasing,

Noticing now that these thoughts are simply energy and they are flowing out of your mind,

Allowing these thoughts,

This energy,

To float away with the outward breath.

There is no need to try to control them or push them away or change them in any way,

Just breathing in and breathing out,

Letting go,

Just let go,

Feeling the thoughts now dissolving into space,

Fading away easily,

Naturally,

Happily.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Releasing,

Release,

Release,

Being aware now of your state of peace and stillness,

Being aware of your ability to allow thoughts to enter in and float out with the inward and outward breath,

Becoming aware of your ability to see the energy of thought and silently watch it fade and dissolve,

Offering it no resistance.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Releasing,

Simply allowing all remaining thoughts to disappear,

Fade away,

Feeling more clear,

Light,

Calm and grounded.

Feeling safely anchored into the present moment,

Right here,

Right now,

Safe and secure.

Being aware now that you are much more than your thoughts,

You are more than your mind,

Being aware that the fullness of you continues to watch and witness from afar in a state of calm and peace.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Making a conscious choice now to remain fully present to the waves of energy rising and falling with the inward and outward breath,

Becoming aware now of a light high up above you,

As high as you can imagine,

A point of electric,

Violet,

White light,

Brilliant bright white light with tiny,

Tiny speckles of purple,

A shimmering light.

And the next time you breathe in,

Imagine you can draw this light in from above,

Down through all the layers of the earth's atmosphere and in through the top of your head.

Breathing in,

And as you breathe out,

Feel it pouring down like a waterfall,

Cleaning and cleansing all parts of your body,

Your mind and your energy field.

Feel it flowing through you now,

Dissolving all remaining fear,

Anxiety and negativity,

Cleaning and cleansing as it goes.

It feels warm and comforting and familiar somehow.

Breathing in from above,

More and more electric,

Violet light now,

And allowing it to wash through all parts of your body,

Your cells,

Your tissues,

All of the systems of your body,

Your mind and your energy field.

Breathing in,

And as you breathe out,

Releasing anything that is not aligned with this light down through your body and feel it flowing out now through the palms of your hands,

The soles of your feet and the base of your spine into the earth.

Breathing in the light from above,

Down through your body and releasing into the earth,

Being aware of your whole body now filling with this bright light.

This light is your higher self,

Your soul power,

Allowing your light to fill your whole body now,

Your mind and your energy field,

Bringing illumination,

A sense of calmness,

Peacefulness,

Safety,

Security and well-being.

Breathing in,

Breathing out,

Expanding,

Allowing your light to expand now.

Feel it growing brighter and brighter,

Lighter and more peaceful,

Anchored to the present moment,

Safe and secure in your body,

Warm and light,

Allowing your whole being to expand now.

Feel your light burning brighter and brighter and allowing it to flow through all areas of your life.

This is your natural state of being.

Feel the peace,

Feel the light,

Feel the joy.

This is your truth.

May you be peaceful,

May you be happy,

May you be well,

May you be safe and may you be free from suffering.

You may remain in this state for as long as you wish and when you return,

Doing so feeling refreshed,

Re-energized,

Alert and calmly observant of your own mindful breathing,

Feeling peaceful,

Calm and safe.

And when you are ready,

In your own time,

Gently bringing your awareness all the way back,

All the way back,

All the way back and bringing all of this light and this joyful energy with you.

Bring it all back with you into the here and now,

Fully into your body and slowly bringing your awareness all the way back and gently blinking your eyes open with a great big smile.
