Welcome to this five minute meditation on overcoming a breakup.

To begin,

Find a quiet place where you can sit comfortably without being disturbed.

Take a deep breath in and release it slowly.

Allow your body to relax and your mind to become calm.

Take your awareness to the breath,

Breathing in and breathing out.

Every time you breathe in,

Feel yourself relaxing and allow your energy to drop from your head down,

Down,

Down,

Down,

Down into your body,

Safe and secure.

As you continue to focus on your breath,

Imagine a bubble of bright white healing light forming around you.

This bubble represents a safe and nurturing space where you can process your emotions and begin to heal.

Now,

Visualize yourself standing at the edge of an exquisite,

Peaceful lake.

The water is calm,

Warm and still,

Reflecting the beauty of the surrounding nature.

You feel the soft,

Warming rays of the sun on your face.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

As you look at the lake,

Take a deep breath in and as you breathe out,

Imagine all the pain and sadness from the breakup flowing out of you and into the water.

Allow the water to cleanse and purify your emotions,

Leaving you feeling lighter and more at peace.

As you breathe in,

Imagine the love and support of your friends and family surrounding you.

As you breathe out,

Imagine all negative thoughts or emotions being released into the healing waters of the lake,

Leaving space for love and positivity.

Now,

Bring to mind any pain or sadness,

Upset or anger that you may be feeling from the breakup.

Acknowledge these emotions without judgment or resistance.

Allow yourself to feel them fully,

Knowing it is a safe space for you to do so here and now.

Breathe in,

Breathe out,

Release.

Now repeat the following affirmations silently or out loud to yourself.

I release all resentment or anger towards my ex-partner.

I release all feelings of guilt,

Helplessness or hopelessness.

I lovingly release all cords of attachment between my ex and myself that are causing me pain or holding me in the past.

I lovingly release all contracts and agreements I ever made in this or any lifetime with anyone that no longer served me.

I set myself free.

I call my spirit back.

I call my power back.

I am worthy of love and happiness.

And I trust that everything happens for a reason.

I let go of this pain and liberate myself today.

I open to new opportunities and experiences.

Breathe in,

Breathe out,

Release.

Now visualize yourself moving forward with confidence and grace.

Imagine new opportunities and experiences unfolding before you,

Bringing joy and fulfillment to your life.

See yourself smiling,

Laughing and feeling happy again.

As we conclude this meditation,

Take a deep breath and release it slowly.

Bring your awareness back to your body and the present moment,

Taking a moment to thank yourself for this time of reflection and healing.

Remember,

Healing from a breakup takes time,

But it is possible.

By acknowledging our emotions,

Releasing resentment or anger and opening ourselves to new opportunities,

We can overcome the pain of a breakup and find happiness once again.
