Feel the way your bum is meeting the chair.
Notice the pressure,
The points where you feel supported.
Notice if it feels even to you.
Allow yourself to shift until it feels 100% comfortable and supported.
Notice your feet as they meet the floor.
Notice what sides of the feet,
What parts of the feet meet the floor.
Notice if it feels even throughout your feet.
Or if it's heavier on one side or the other,
The front or the back.
Just noticing what is.
And then taking a moment and seeing if you can create a more balanced connection with the floor.
Shifting your feet slightly.
Notice what else changes as you do that.
There's no right or wrong here.
Just allowing the awareness to come in.
And when you feel ready,
Closing your eyes and turning your attention to your breath.
Once again,
Noticing what is.
How is the breath moving for you in this moment?
And as it feels right and good for you,
Beginning to lengthen your breath.
Beginning to deepen and expand the breath.
Bringing it in through the nose and allowing it to come back out through the nose.
Taking a few more rounds of slow,
Steady,
Present breath in and out through the nose.
And when you feel ready,
When your breath feels slow and steady and luxurious,
Turning your attention to your pelvic bowl.
Noticing the heaviness,
The weight of the pelvic bowl.
Allowing that heaviness,
That space to support you in your connection to the earth.
Feel the weight of the bowl connecting you to the earth.
Slow,
Steady,
Deep breaths.
Feeling that tether,
That connection to all that there is.
The pelvic bowl,
Heavy,
Connecting you in.
And then when it feels appropriate,
Taking a moment to connect to your favorite water source.
Noticing the energy,
The movement that there is in that water.
Staying connected to the deep breath,
The slow,
Steady breath.
As you notice the water,
The earth,
And the flow.
Allowing yourself to become aware of the memory within the water.
The memory of all there is.
And as you connect to this water,
This source energy,
You become a part of that memory.
Feel into your truth.
Allow yourself to trust that inner knowing.
Continuing to breathe deeply.
You are a part of all there is.
Allow yourself to stay here in this energetic space.
Soaking in as much stillness,
Soothing,
Grounding as you need in this moment.
Breathing deeply.
And when the time feels right for you,
Slowly coming back to this body,
This moment,
Here and now.
