Standing tall,
Feet are hip width apart,
Legs are long,
Knees are soft.
Letting your pelvic bowl soften,
Rolling the shoulders back and tucking the chin just slightly so you can feel the neck long,
Soft jaw,
Space between the teeth.
Taking a few rounds of breath here,
Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
Lying through the nose,
Exhaling through the mouth.
One more time,
Big breath of inhale through the nose and exhale,
Sighing it out.
Bringing your attention down to your feet,
Noticing the way the four corners of the feet are meeting the earth.
Leaning slightly forward,
Just enough to notice the toes gripping and then come back to center.
One more time,
Leaning slightly forward,
Coming back to center.
Leaning slightly back,
Come back to center.
And again,
Slightly back,
Come back to center.
On your next breath of exhale,
Hinge slightly to the right,
Come back to center,
Back to the right,
Back to center.
Exhale to the left,
Back to center,
Exhale to the left,
Come back to center.
Bring your attention back down to your feet,
Notice the way they are meeting the earth.
Notice the way the ground is meeting your feet.
Feel the strength,
The stability,
The rootedness.
Bringing in two more rounds of breath here,
Slow,
Steady inhales,
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Once more.
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
And as you move through your day,
I invite you to remember the ground is there to support you.
Kal heftya.
