Welcome,

This is a practice for endings,

Not loud ones,

Not dramatic ones,

But the quiet kind,

The kind that simply say,

That's enough.

Let these words land softly,

Let your body settle into rest now,

Allow gravity to take over,

Let the bed hold you completely,

Feel the gentle release as the day slowly lets go of you,

One breath at a time,

You've done more than you can remember,

You've survived more than you ever gave yourself credit for,

You're still here,

That alone counts,

Let that truth exhale through you,

Breathe in slowly,

A long quiet inhale,

And exhale with heaviness,

Like the body is saying,

I'm ready to rest now,

Let the breath guide you down,

Down into softness,

Down into stillness,

Imagine your last month as a book on your shelf,

A book you've placed there gently,

Not forgotten,

Just no longer something you need to carry,

It's allowed to rest now,

And so are you,

You may notice unfinished things,

Unsaid things,

Moments that didn't find their conclusion,

That doesn't mean you failed,

It means you lived,

It means you moved through real life,

With its edges and its softness and its unpredictability,

Let the breath make space around those thoughts,

Your breath is quieter now,

More spacious,

Your thoughts softer,

Like the mind is dimming its lights for the night,

Let the past dissolve behind you,

Gently,

Like mist fading into the darkness,

There is nothing to fix in the dark,

Nothing to solve,

Nothing to hold up or analyse,

This is not a time for effort,

This is a time for rest,

A place of stillness,

A moment for your whole body to let go,

Feel your breath moving in slow waves,

Each inhale light and effortless,

Each exhale heavier,

Deeper,

Pulling you further towards sleep,

Let the body melt into the bed,

Let every muscle release its grip,

And if thoughts drift in,

Let them float past,

Like small boats on a dark lake,

You don't need to climb into any of them,

Just watch them drift away,

Until they fade into quiet,

Now imagine a soft darkness around you,

Warm,

Gentle,

Comforting,

This darkness is safe,

It asks nothing of you,

It holds you the way that night holds the earth,

Let yourself lean into it,

Feel the day closing,

Like a book whose final page has been read,

There's no urgency to open a new one,

No pressure to understand the ending,

Just rest,

Just stillness,

Just this peaceful pause between chapters,

Let your breath become almost silent,

Let the space between breaths lengthen,

Let your body drift,

Heavier,

Warmer,

Softer,

As if sleep is gently pulling you in,

Nothing more is needed from you tonight,

You've done enough,

You've shown up enough,

You are enough,

Let the day go,

Let the month go,

Let yourself go,

Down into rest,

When sleep comes,

Let it take you fully,

When it softens your mind,

Let it deepen,

Let it wrap around you,

Like a quiet beginning,

Waiting patiently for your next dawn,

You are safe to rest now,

You are allowed to rest now,

Drifting deeper asleep,

Deeper and deeper asleep,
