Transcript

It's time for a little confidence boost.

Take some time to become comfortable.

Close your eyes.

Settle back.

Relax.

Breathe in and out.

Starting to slow down.

To gently relax.

To let go of any discomfort or unease.

To enjoy a gently appearing sensation of heaviness and relaxation.

Because of this relaxed state,

Because you're now taking a break,

Once in a while,

You're becoming more in control of how you think,

How you react.

As you continue to practice these slow exercises,

I want you to know that surprisingly quickly over time,

Your mind is becoming calmer and clearer.

More composed,

More placid,

More tranquil.

And yet,

When needed,

More focused.

With improved memory and greater concentration,

You'll be able to see things more clearly.

To see the bigger picture.

Over time,

Your nerves are becoming stronger and steadier.

And over time,

But surprisingly quicker,

Your body's becoming more and more relaxed and less tense each day.

And you are becoming so much more relaxed.

Not only more relaxed in your body,

But more relaxed about yourself.

About the world around you.

So that nothing,

Nobody,

No situation,

Will ever be able to cause you the same unease or discomfort ever again.

And as you become and as you remain,

More and more relaxed and in control each day.

As it becomes easier and easier for you to relax and let go each day.

So you're developing much more confidence in yourself.

More confidence in your ability to do not only what you have to do each day,

But more confidence in your ability to do whatever you ought to be able to do.

With clarity of thought.

With peace of mind.

With focus.

With just the perfect amount of adrenaline.

And with all your resources.

Therefore,

It's easier now to get more done.

With greater accuracy.

You're much more productive.

And this gives you more time for what's important to you.

And so life seems simpler.

And easier.

And happier.

With those thoughts in mind.

Become aware of the weight of your feet and the weight of your hands and the weight of your entire body.

Take a gentle deep breath in.

Wiggle your fingers.

Wiggle your toes.

Bring yourself back up.

Gently open your eyes.

Have a gentle stretch in your fully back,

Rested and refreshed.

Back in the room.

Re-energized.

Re-focused.

Be good to yourself.

I didn’t expect this to be so powerful. This really brought me back home to the gravity of my own body. We all experience the weight of the world in our own way but we all experience it. Spot on! There's an old joke, "how does an elephant get down from a tree"? I had huge thoughts, dis-comforts, which wouldn't shift and yet, were entirely just that, thought! Now I feel lighter and free-er _/\_ The answer to the elephant joke . . . "it sits on a leaf and waits until autumn" Like a tree being liberated from its burden of leaves, I feel lighter and grateful. Namaste
