In this meditation, we release our to-do lists, goals, worries and other attachments. Instead, we ask for universal guidance to get exactly what we need. First, we clam our minds and body, bringing attention to only what is right in front of us. Then bringing in calming energy. Finally asking to be open to receiving exactly what you need. Affirmation: I am open to receiving exactly what I need.

In this meditation,

We are going to focus on surrendering.

We often approach our days with goals and intentions and giant to-do lists,

When in reality what we need to do is let go of the list and really surrender to what is.

And instead of setting an intention that is specific and detailed,

It often helps us to set one that is open.

So in today's meditation,

We are going to release that to-do list.

We are going to release all of our expectations and goals and priorities and surrender to what is given to us,

What is shown to us.

So to begin,

I want you to get in a comfortable position,

Whether that's seated or laying down.

I want you to gently close your eyes and begin to relax.

Let's start by a series of deep breaths.

Let's go inhaling and exhale.

Inhale and exhale.

And exhale.

I want you to do some breathing at your own pace while relaxing your body.

Now let's tune into our body and center into ourselves.

I want you to start by becoming aware of the sounds that are around you.

Is there somebody mowing?

Are your neighbors talking?

Are the kids screaming?

Tune into each sound.

Get unattached to the sounds,

But become conscious of them.

Now I want you to bring your attention to just around your body,

Just within the small space that you are seated in or laying in.

Is there any sounds right next to you?

A fan,

An alarm clock.

Become conscious and aware of what is literally right in your presence.

Finally I want you to bring your attention just to your body,

Walking out all the other sounds and being present to yourself.

Listen to your heartbeat.

Is your stomach grumbling?

Those sounds are present just on you.

Release all judgment of what these sounds are.

Instead,

Honor what they are.

Now I want you to bring your attention to the top of your head and imagine a white light coming down from the sky,

From your universal source,

Flowing into your head,

Down into your throat,

Into your shoulders,

Flowing into your arms,

Flowing into your chest,

Down into your stomach,

Flowing into your pelvis area,

Flowing down into your legs,

Finally into your toes,

And out the bottoms of your feet,

Down into Mother Earth.

Allow this energy to flow through you.

As you are allowing this energy to flow through you,

I want you to be open to receiving exactly what you need.

No expectations,

No predetermined answers.

Feel the flow of energy through your body,

Allowing the exact piece of information that you need to be presented to you.

Announcing to the universe,

I am open to receiving exactly what I need.

I am open to receiving exactly what I need.

I am open to receiving exactly what I need.

I am open to receiving exactly what I need.

I am open to receiving exactly what I need.

I am open to receiving exactly what I need.

And place it in your heart.

Allow it to simply be there.

No expectations,

No attachment.

Allow it to simply be.

And just slowly start to reawaken,

Wiggling your fingers and toes,

Doing some deep breathing if that helps bring you back to the moment.

Slowly open your eyes.

Scan around the room.

Bring yourself back into the now.

As you proceed through your day,

Continue to have no attachment to the information that you have been given.

Allow exactly what you need to appear when you need it.
