Welcome to this new moon meditation.
The new moon is a time of new beginnings,
When the moon itself is ready to start a new cycle,
Moving from darkness to being full and filling the sky with new light.
It is easy to not pay as much attention to the new moon as you do the full moon,
Because it is dark.
We don't wander outside and gasp at the beauty of the fullness and light like we do with the full moon.
But this darkness gives us time to connect with our intuition,
To explore the hidden parts of our lives that we may not see with our eyes.
The new moon calls us to let go of what you can see easily and instead turn to what is hiding.
The insights we gained from intuition help guide us in setting the new path forward.
To help you access your intuition.
And see where you need to go.
We're going to do a guided meditation to connect with the moon and our intuition to give us insights,
Wisdom,
And clarity.
Let's begin by getting into a comfortable position.
Allowing your body to relax.
Allow your heartbeat to slow.
Your breath to become calm,
And your mind to center.
As your body calms.
Visualize a cord.
From your root chakra,
Or the base of your feet.
Down to the core of the earth.
Allow that core to tether you to the core.
Allow this to bring you grounding energy.
That will stabilize you as you connect with the moon in the sky.
Allowing you to be fully present.
While connecting to your intuition.
Now we visualize the Earth's energy.
Moving up the cord.
And beginning to move through your entire body.
Moving through your feet.
Up through your legs.
Through your pelvic area.
Moving into your stomach.
Then up through your chest and back.
Flowing down your arms.
You and up your neck and through your head.
Finally,
Out the top of your head,
And up to the moon.
This creates a protective column for you between Mother Earth and Mother Moon.
When you are ready.
Allow your mind.
To contemplate what you've been working on in the last two weeks.
Gently explore how you feel about it.
What may have worked.
What may not have worked.
Don't judge it.
Simply take note of what has happened.
Now connect with the moon.
And ask her to show you what you need to know for the next two weeks.
Do not judge or force how this information flows to you.
Remembering that in the dark of a new moon.
Sometimes we have to trust the senses we don't always use.
With your reflection on the past.
And the information from the moon.
Begin to determine what you want to focus on in the next two weeks.
How do you want to act?
How do you want to show up?
What feelings do you want to experience?
Remembering that not everything is about doing.
Give yourself time to explore the being aspects of yourself.
When you've completed exploring what you want the next two weeks.
Put all your thoughts and ideas in a basket.
And visualize yourself handing that basket.
Full of your dreams and ideas.
To the moon.
Ask the moon to tend your dreams,
To send the right information about your dreams to the right places,
Calling in support and divinely inspired action steps for you to receive as you need them.
Allowing you to trust that you are not alone on this journey.
That the moon is helping,
Too.
Before closing out,
Ask the moon if it has any final wisdom for you on what you should do right now.
Thank the moon for all the help it is giving you,
And will give you.
And begin to slowly bring yourself back to this present moment.
Being gentle with yourself as you open your eyes.
And begin to move.
Before you move on with your day,

What are you letting go of?
What do you want?
And what were those first steps the moon suggested you take?
