In this meditation we will visualize ourselves on a walk, where we must overcome dead ends. This is a practice for helping us see that there is more than one path forward. When overcoming life's obstacles it is good to know there are many options for a new direction. Let's practice in this visualization, looking for alternatives.

Welcome,

My name is Andrea.

In this visualization,

We are going to practice expanding our awareness.

When we become stuck in life,

When we have an issue we don't think we can solve,

When we feel like we're at a dead end,

It is very difficult often to see other opportunities.

In this visualization,

We are going to practice looking for different options,

Different ways around our dead end,

Through the experience of taking a walk.

So allow yourself to get into a comfortable seated position.

Take a deep breath in,

And exhale.

Begin to allow your eyes to gently close.

Take another deep breath in,

And exhale.

And a deep breath in,

And exhale.

Now imagine yourself outside going for a walk.

Go to the space that your intuition naturally takes you to.

This can be in a city,

In a field,

On a beach.

As you are walking,

You come upon a dead end.

This can be a wall,

A fence,

A metal road barrier,

A cliff.

As you approach this dead end,

And come to a stop,

Look around.

What do you see?

Take a moment to turn back around,

And look at where you just walked from.

Acknowledge that you cannot go back there.

Now turn back around to your barrier.

Begin to look for ways past this barrier.

It can be moving to the right,

To the left,

Flying up and over,

Digging under.

Perhaps you're even going to teleport past it.

Look for different ways around it.

Look for different ways around it.

Select the one way past it that feels most comfortable to you right now,

And begin heading in that direction.

As you are moving in this direction,

Pay attention to how you feel.

What do you see?

What do you see?

What do you see?

What do you see?

What do you see?

What do you see?

Has the space changed?

Are you in a different location?

As you are walking,

Notice if this is the right place for you.

Does it feel good?

If not,

Stop and look around for another path.

If it is the right space,

Continue walking on that path.

Trust that the right path is there for you.

You simply have to find it.

Allow yourself to come into a space that allows you to stop and rest.

As you sit down in your new space,

Breathe it in.

Look around you.

What is there?

What colors do you see?

What do you smell?

How does it feel?

How does it feel?

Allow yourself to take in this new space.

Slowly allow yourself to come back to the present moment.

Reacclimate yourself to the physical space that you are in.

Allow your senses to feel the temperature.

Listen to the sounds that are in your room.

Slowly open your eyes.

Look at the room around you.

The colors,

The lights.

Take a deep breath in.

Exhale.

Take another deep breath in.

And exhale.

If you want to journal about the experience that you just had,

What you saw,

Maybe what insights it brought you,

Now is a great time to do so.

You can continue to use this visualization to practice expanding your awareness so that problem solving becomes easier with time.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.

Quick, effective and a good use of visualization using one's now familiarity rather than than specific place that one may need to work on those details rather than the meditation itself.
