Allow yourself to enjoy the comfort of being where you are right now.
Notice the warmth and the softness of the blanket that's laying upon you,
Softly protecting you and keeping you warm.
Feel the weight of your body sinking into the support below you.
Allow yourself to gently wake up here,
Simply by noticing the support and awakening in this feeling of being held and supported.
Notice the gentle rhythm of your breath,
Entering in through your nostrils,
Filtering the air and exhaling out through your nostrils or your mouth,
Releasing anything from yesterday or the previous night.
Allowing a soft sense of appreciation to awaken here.
Appreciation for your breath.
A soft feeling of thankfulness for this constant process that your body is going through.
A constant letting go of the old and bringing in the new.
Feel your heart fill up with this gratitude.
Gratitude for this new day,
For all the organs in your body,
All the systems and every single cell that is awakening with you right here.
Deepen your breath and allow this thankfulness to spread into every nook and every cranny in your body.
Allow your mind to fill with three more things you can be grateful for today.
And taking a moment to really let this soak in,
To drink in the support that you are given today.
Feel yourself being held here,
In your bed or on your chair or wherever you are.
Know that you are held.
Gently set your intention for today,
Reminding yourself there is always room for gratitude.
There is always room to land in the here and now and be held in the softness of appreciation.
Taking a moment to bring your awareness back into the space that you are in.
Bringing in some gentle movements into your body.
Softly opening your eyes and orienting yourself back into the room that you are in.
