Good morning,
Welcome to this new beautiful day.
Allow yourself to gently sit up straight with your spine long and your feet firmly on the ground below you.
Let's start with truly connecting to ourselves and truly awakening to this new beautiful day.
And so I invite you to be where your feet are right now.
Often our mind already starts running in the morning,
So bringing your awareness back to your feet,
Back into this present moment.
Now lower your awareness to the surface that you are resting on.
Is it a soft surface or hard?
Feel how you are being held,
Carried and supported right now.
Allow any heaviness to leave your body and sink into the floor below you.
Maybe there is a place in your body where you are carrying tension.
Expand your awareness to this place in your body and allow it to release and soften by taking a deep breath into this space.
Allow your awareness to expand even more out into the room that you are in and notice what sounds are rising around you.
Do you notice birds chirping outside your bedroom?
Keeping your eyes closed,
Take a deep breath in and feel the cold air traveling through the inside of your nostrils and traveling down into your whole body,
Cleansing,
Renewing every cell in your body and as you exhale,
Sigh out all the energy that you've been carrying with you the past night.
With your next inhale,
Allow this air to travel even deeper into your body,
All the way down into your lower belly.
Feel the air relaxing all the muscles around your lower belly,
Your abdomen and release as you exhale,
Letting go of all of the stuck energy,
All of the pain,
The worries and the thoughts of yesterday.
Taking a last deep breath in and feel the air travel upwards now,
Up into your mind,
Cleansing your mind,
Washing away any negative thoughts or limiting beliefs.
And gently exhale,
Sending out all of the old energy.
With your next inhale,
Place both hands on your heart now and start breathing into your heart space.
Bring into your mind's eye a person who you love dearly.
Now ask yourself,
Who am I grateful for?
And what am I grateful for today?
Feel this gratitude fill you up completely.
Take a moment to give thanks for a new day on Earth,
For all the people,
Places and things which you can be grateful for.
From this joyful place of gratitude,
Allow yourself to come up with an intention for today,
Something you'd like to invite into your life today.
Maybe it's a focus that you want to carry with you.
Maybe your focus is on finding moments of calm,
Filling your own cup first until it overflows and only giving to others from the overflow,
Being selective with your energy.
Allow your intention to fully form into a sentence.
When it has formed,
Take a deep breath in here and as you exhale,
Send your intention out into the world.
Allow your breath to flow back into its natural rhythm.
Notice how your mind has become more quiet and how your body has relaxed.
Enjoy the stillness and silence of this present moment.
Take this with you into your day,
Find those moments of calm and remember that you can always give yourself what you need and peace resides within you.
When it feels comfortable,
Gently open your eyes.
Welcome to this new day.
Gently stretch out your body.
Move your fingers and toes.
