If you can do this practice with your eyes closed,
Then allow your eyelids to gently rest.

Keep your eyes open and please do so.
Float your awareness towards your nostrils.
Notice your breath,
Floating inward.
And floating outward from your body.
See if you can allow your lips to be sealed.
And breathe in and out through your nose.
Be mindful of the rhythm of your breath.
The depth of your breath mirrors the depth and capacity of your nervous system in this moment.
Notice if it is shallow and quick or deep and slow.
Begin to lengthen your inhales.
And fully exhale out all the air from your belly.
Out through your nostrils.
Continue lengthening your inhales and your exhales.
Taking full,
Slow,
Deep breaths in.
Notice how the air is equally divided upon both nostrils.
Feel the temperature of the air floating in.
And the air leaving your body.
Notice how the temperature of your exhale changes.
Is warmer as it leaves your body.
After your next inhale,
