Get comfortable in your meditation position,
Whether you're taking a seat or laying yourself down.
Take five breaths.
As you breathe,
Let the body relax and feel the breath as it fills you up.
And allow yourself to release with every single exhale.
This meditation is an invitation to reset and begin again.
Starting with being in the present moment,
Notice what you feel,
Notice what you sense,
Notice what you hear.
And in the space of resetting and beginning again,
Giving you the opportunity to release,
Release something or let go of something.
Maybe it's something like guilt or something that's keeping you stuck in a way that maybe you're hard on yourself or maybe beating yourself up for stepping off track and knowing that it's okay.
Allow yourself to soften.
Soften the thoughts,
Soften the body.
And in this space of silence in between my words,
Allow yourself to be,
Be with whatever you're experiencing,
What is coming to mind.
What would you like to let go of right now,
Something that's not serving you?
Acknowledge it with an inhale and release it with a sigh out.
And do that again,
Repeat the inhale with the acknowledgement and the soft release with the exhale.
And will you release it with compassion?
Release it with a dismissal?
And maybe even release it with gratitude that whatever the thought,
The action,
The moment,
Whatever it is that you're ready to release,
It's served its purpose.
And now it's ready to let go,
To dissolve,
To evaporate and move on from the past into this present moment.
I acknowledge with an inhale and I release and let it go with the exhale.
And now reset and begin again.
And now in this new moment,
Bring your focus,
Your focus on what is the new start?
Is it a project,
Something that's important to you,
Something that you want to reset,
Something you want to commit to,
Bring it to mind and know that each and every one of us,
We all do the best that we can in each moment,
Every day,
Always the opportunity to reset and begin again.
And also there's a power in committing,
Committing to a dedication,
A dedication to an intention because it matters to you.
So see yourself resetting,
See yourself beginning again.
See yourself with an energy of dedication,
An energy of perseverance,
An energy of love because there's something that you love so much and the thing that you love so much,
Maybe it's you,
The most important thing.
Dedicate to yourself,
Dedicate to what do you want to reset and begin again.
Does it see it,
Commit to it?
Then may you reset and begin again.
