Hello,
Welcome.
Welcome to your guided meditation.
You may lie down in Shavasana unless you know that you'll fall asleep,
Then come to seated.
Choose your posture of choice,
A space in which you can relax.
Here you will begin to take action,
Whether it's lying down or finding your way into some sort of meditation posture seated.
Once you've arrived,
Scan your body.
Is there anywhere that you could adjust or shift to become more comfortable?
As you draw your awareness from your physical body,
Settling into a rather still position,
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Breathe in and out of your nose.
In this moment,
Acknowledge how supported and held you are by the earth below you.
A sense of gratitude for the gift of your life,
That which is your breath.
In this moment,
Notice every area in which you feel safe,
Supported and held.
The earth holding you up,
Giving you solid ground to exist on.
The breath moving through you,
Giving,
Gifting you the essence of your life.
Here you are safe,
Supported and held by so much more than you can see or imagine.
With your mind's awareness,
As you look ahead and you look out,
Notice the little child in the distance,
Frolicking around in the garden.
You get curious,
Your eyes start to squint as you try to identify who the little child ahead is.
They look so happy and playful,
Chasing the butterflies around.
As you look ahead,
There's a big ray of sunshine over the flower beds ahead,
Where the little child just hops,
Skips,
Sings and exists with nature,
The butterflies and the birds.
And the closer and closer you get,
You begin to notice you recognize that child.
And as you arrive into the garden bed,
You notice it's you.
Years ago,
How old are you?
You are looking at your younger self.
What do you see as you recognize yourself?
How old are you?
What are you wearing?
As you approach your younger self,
Notice if there's anything that they need to hear from you now.
Any words of wisdom or support that your younger self needs to hear from you now.
You may begin to thank her,
Thank him to remind them that you are and always will and always have been there.
Perhaps an apology for being so hard on yourself,
Or for not showing up the way in which you would have.
Remind your younger self that it's okay now,
That you are here.
Let them know,
Let her,
Let him know how much you love them.
You may even give a big hug to hold and remind that you are safe and you are held by more than you can see.
And that you'll always be here to comfort your younger self anytime they choose to rise in the present moment.
Remind them that you are there,
That you are here,
That you love them.
You may begin to thank her,
That you are here,
That you are here,
That you are here,
That you are here.
In the presence of your younger self,
Be present,
Feel deeply and say anything that needs to be said.
From the depth of your heart,
Express yourself now.
If it feels right for you,
Give another hug.
Remind them,
Him,
Her,
That you are here and you always will be.
Thank them and remind them how much you love them.
Look into your younger self's eyes.
See them as the pure light.
See you as the pure light that you are.
And as you begin to walk away,
Notice that you are them.
As you begin to feel your body,
Notice your breath.
Feel the support of the earth around you and the gift of your essence,
That which is your breath.
Take some deeper breaths and remember that you are safe.
You are held and supported by more than you can see.
Be soft and gentle with yourself as you return back to your day.
Namaste.
