Hello my friend,

I am so happy that you are here.

This is a walking meditation.

Walking may be the kindest gift we give ourselves.

Walking improves our cardiac health,

Creates less stress on our joints,

And reduces pain.

It helps our endurance,

Stimulates circulation,

Strengthens balance,

And improves our posture.

And beyond these miraculous physical benefits,

Walking is incredibly important to our emotional well-being.

Walking allows us to find stillness in motion.

As fresh oxygen pumps into our lungs,

We awaken the soul and energize the body.

As you embark on this walking journey my friend,

Allow yourself to fully arrive in this present moment.

Allow your senses to heighten as you become the observer of the natural as well as man-made beauty all around you.

Whether you are walking in nature,

In a bustling city,

Or in a quiet neighborhood,

The location is not important.

The power is in the action,

The movement,

The breath.

Be so fully present in this moment my friend that neither the future nor the past can find you here.

There is only now and you in this beautiful sweet moment where you are alive,

Breathing,

Walking.

In this moment of solitude,

We look to the great outdoors to find a spark of hope,

To seek out inspiration,

To feel connected and united with our beautiful planet.

As you walk along this beautiful earth,

Don't rush it,

My friend,

Savor it.

Feel each step,

Feel each movement.

Notice the connection between your feet and the earth with every footstep.

Feel that energy exchange,

Feel the grounding.

Nature is a beautiful reminder of our built-in resilience.

It constantly reminds us of our natural ability to persevere despite the challenges,

Hardships,

And bad news.

Nature reminds us that we are ingeniously designed beings that are able to cope,

Able to heal,

Able to love.

Find ease in your movement.

Feel the kindness in your heart.

Notice the harmony of your breath.

Find so much curiosity in your mind that you gaze in wonder and amazement at everything that comes your way,

As if you are a child who is brand new to this bountiful world.

My friend,

This beautiful moment is wholeheartedly yours.

It is a chance to re-center yourself,

An opportunity to reconnect with your inner calm.

It is a brief but precious moment in time where you can be truly free,

Where you can be one with yourself.

Walking outdoors reminds us of how much we have in common with our precious earth.

For we are as durable as the trees,

Grounding through the roots,

Cultivating stability and security for ourselves,

Our families,

And our homes.

And just like trees,

We shed our weathered layers,

Regrowing fresh and vibrant new skin time and time again as we learn and grow.

We are as magnificent as the skies,

Vast,

Stunning,

Impressive,

And highly adaptable,

Enduring the most turbulent of storms and then miraculously transforming into calm and tranquil watercolors of the sky.

We are as nimble as the stream,

Plowing through difficult terrain,

Leaving calm and smooth carvings behind us even on the strongest of stones.

We are as powerful as the earth,

Grounding and supporting those who need us most,

Providing nourishment and nutrients for thoughts and ideas to grow.

We are as versatile as the wind,

Always moving,

Shifting,

Changing pace,

Adapting to every changing environment that surrounds us.

At times wild and agitated,

But most days sweet and gentle as the summer breeze.

We can be as hot as fire,

Radiating waves of energy,

Love,

And light.

Our warmth can gently embrace a loved one's heart,

Yet scorch an enemy who dares to cause us harm.

And just like a fire,

Our hearts burn with passion,

Our thoughts flicker with curiosity and wonder,

Our lips dance like a flame upon voicing sweet words of love.

All of these beautiful elements of nature awaken our heart,

Fill us with inspiration and remind us that everything will be okay.

Now take a deep breath my friend,

And on the exhale,

Whisper with me,

Everything will be okay.

Two more times just like that on your own.

Everything will be okay.

Everything will be okay.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful walking moment with me.

I am forever grateful.

Sending you so much love,

Peace,

And good vibrations.

Namaste.

I cried the whole time with the beauty of your words and your caring voice. How did you know exactly the message I needed to hear today? Iโ€™ve been contending with the adrenal fatigue for over four years and walking has been challenging for me at times. But this was very healing for me today and I kept a slow pace. Thank you!โค๏ธ
