Take a deep breath in and a big breath out.

Repeat this a few times as you soften with each breath.

Whisper to yourself,

I am safe in this moment.

I am safe in this moment.

I am safe.

Wrap your right elbow under your left elbow and hold your shoulders with opposite hands.

Give yourself a soft,

Comforting hug.

Breathe into this hug.

It's okay.

You are safe.

And it is safe to be.

Feel how your body and mind soften and slow down.

Tell yourself,

I bend but I don't break.

I have done hard things before.

I can do this too.

My breath is my safe harbour.

Now,

Instead of having to do all these things that you think you should be doing,

I invite you to tune into your body and hear what it needs right now.

Just one next step.

Do you need to take a nap?

Do you need to eat?

Or do you need to take a walk?

What do you need to do?

Please remember,

You are safe in this moment.

You are here.

You are steady.

You are whole.

You got this.
