Hello,
Glad you can be here now.
Get into a happy and easy seated position.
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and sigh it out.
Again,
Long inhale.
And a long exhale.
Bring your lips together and continue taking long,
Slow,
Gentle inhales and exhales.
Slow down.
Slow down your breathing.
Relax.
Relax.
Lengthen through the crown of your head.
And sink your sit bones into the floor.
All while relaxing your belly.
Slow down your heart.
And be here now.
Not worrying about the future or thinking about what has already happened.
Just be here now.
Relax your shoulders.
Be soft.
And be here now.
If your mind wanders,
Return to your breath.
Follow your breath as you inhale.
Notice where the inhale and exhale meet.
And then follow your breath as it leaves.
Let each breath be a moment.
Be in this moment.
Be here now.
In a poem called Summer is Winter,
Wrote by Jane Roberts,
She says,
Today is tomorrow and present past.
Nothing exists and everything will last.
There's no beginning and there was no end.
No depth to fall,
No height to ascend.
There's only this moment,
This flicker of light that illuminates nothing.
But oh,
So bright.
For we are the spark that flutters in space.
Consuming an eternity of a moment's grace.
For today is tomorrow and present past.
Nothing exists and everything will last.
Stay with your breath.
Relax your shoulders.
Lengthen up through the crown of the head and sink the sit bones.
Become aware of you sitting here with your eyes closed.
Become aware of your surroundings.
Seek out all the sounds and sensations.
Bring a smile to your face.
And when you're ready,
Slowly start to open your eyes,
Stretch out if you need.
And enjoy the rest of your day.
From my heart to yours.
Thank you.
