A meditation to remember who you are.
This is a meditation to re-inspire you about yourself and your true unique being.
So take some space for yourself and allow yourself to create a sense of sanctuary for yourself too.
Settling into your breathing and creating a sense of spacious welcome for your whole presence.
That no part of you needs to feel any shame or need to hide.
That all of you is welcome.
Feel the welcome of the earth underneath you.
Honouring you with your own special spot.
Holding space for your presence and your heart.
A special connection from the heart of the earth,
Her heart,
To yours.
And allow your body to surrender to gravity and drop into her embrace.
Simply drop the weight of your bones to the earth.
And breathe there.
Feel your space around you and that you can spread out,
You can spread your arms wide.
Feel the welcome of space for you.
All that space.
And with every breath,
Tune in a little deeper to your inner space.
Allow every inhalation to take you deeper,
Closer to you.
Allow each exhalation to give you a sense of release and relief as you let go of any holding.
Any holding especially of doubt or grudges against yourself that you've been holding over yourself.
Let them go.
Breathing in,
You feel your space.
There is expansion.
And keeping that fullness as you breathe out.
Releasing anything unnecessary to your being.
The old stories that aren't true.
Anything that's keeping you captive to stories about not being enough.
It's not true,
Let them go.
Enjoy the flow of your breath for a few moments.
And keep feeling that welcome.
That welcome of all of you.
Be careful not to block any of your energies.
Give freedom to your thoughts and feelings.
Keep enjoying your breath.
And now drawing into your memory.
You've journeyed in this life through many realms,
Through many experiences that have touched you on the inside.
You've expressed yourself to life in all your creations.
Take a moment to honour your journey and be proud.
You've showed up.
You've embraced your humanity.
In all the times you've been yourself,
You've been adding something special and unique to life because there is only one you and there will only ever be one soul that is you.
Thank yourself for all you have experienced and brought into your inner life.
And thank yourself for all the creations you have brought into life around you.
And then remind yourself.
Remember those times when you dived deep.
So deep you were worried you might get lost in the depths that were new and unfamiliar to you.
And remember that you surfaced again and surfaced more brightly and with some new knowing,
New strength,
New light inside you.
Feel your breath and feel the light of surfacing.
Remember the times when you were weary,
So weary that you thought you couldn't take another step.
But you did.
And then another step and another step until your steps got lighter and lighter and in fact,
You flew.
Feel your breath.
Feel yourself.
Feel your spirit.
Remember a time when your world seemed to turn upside down.
But then you realised you can handle upside down.
The world looks different that way up but it is still your life and you are still you.
Remember the moment you realised you could feel safe upside down.
And remember the moment you righted yourself again.
And surrendered again into gravity with your feet on the ground.
Breathing in.
Breathing out.
Remember when you thought you were alone and then found that you were not.
Remember when you thought you hadn't the power to change things but remembered you are a wizard.
A human angel.
That you can make fire.
That you can create miracles.
And light your own way.
Remember when you felt stuck,
You didn't know which way to turn.
You didn't know how to move or where.
And then you remembered that you are someone who can make things happen.
That you can choose to be in the dance or sit this one out.
That you can move in all directions,
North,
South,
East and west and embrace the space and make your mark on it.
And that you can come home again to the centre.
Sit quietly and rest.
Remember all those times you seemed to forget who you really are.
And then you remembered.
Feel the breath in your belly.
Take your hands there if that feels good.
And remember your natural self.
Your innate being.
That you are a diver.
A lover.
A dreamer.
That you are a creator.
And a quiet watcher.
A lover of the earth and sky.
And you can live and move and rest in all your unique being.
Healthy and safe and loved in the heart of life.
And that you can live and rest in all your unique being.
