Quiet Mind Meditation.
In a quiet setting,
Gently sit or lie down.
You may even want to dim the lights to be still and to be silent.
When you feel ready,
Gently close your eyes and turn your attention to your breathing.
For each hour passes throughout the day,
Mind can start to feel overloaded.
Responsibilities,
Deadlines,
Tasks,
To-do list.
Giving yourself the opportunity just to unravel,
Release,
Overload.
Turn your attention to your breathing now and the natural rise,
Fall,
Belly.
Breathing in and letting go as you breathe out.
Breathing in and letting go as you breathe out.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Imagining now a beautiful,
Gentle,
Silk scarf trickling over the top of your head.
Just gently resting on the top of your head.
This beautiful,
Relaxing silk scarf caressing your hair,
Top of your head,
All the way down to your ears,
Your neck.
Breathing in and letting go as you breathe out.
Imagine now gently loosing down that silk scarf further down your body.
Kind of going over your head now,
Caressing your shoulders,
Your chest and back,
Everywhere this silk scarf connects with on your body.
It's just helping you to release,
Let go,
Let go.
Obsessive mind chatter.
Pulling that scarf further down your body now,
The lower part of your torso,
Down past your buttocks,
All the way down to the top of your thighs.
Just feeling warmth,
Continuing all that beautiful,
White,
Glowing silk scarf further down your body.
Pressing your lower thighs now,
Your knees,
Your shins and calves.
Really releasing the stress,
Really releasing any toxic thoughts,
Feelings you have inside.
Breathing in,
Letting go as you breathe out.
Breathing in and out.
Just peeling away the last connection of that silk scarf on over your ankles,
Your feet,
All the way past your toes.
Just allowing yourself to be really still in this setting.
Your belly gently rising and falling,
Rising and falling lighter.
