Use this guided meditation to support you to surrender into a blissful state of self-massage and self-care. Upon choosing your favorite essential oils, find a quiet and comfortable setting to spend 20 minutes letting go, de-stressing, unwinding the mind and deeply relaxing the body.

Massage meditation.

Find yourself a quiet place to sit or lie down.

Ensure you are free from distractions and turn your phone on silent.

Choose the aromatherapy oil that you would like to use in this meditation.

Just place a few drops in your hand and then begin to slowly massage your hands together.

Really,

Really slowly.

Just gently draw your hands near your nose and just smell the beautiful scent of your aromatherapy oil.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Just continuing to breathe in,

In your own time and your own way.

Feeling more relaxed and calm with each new breath.

Just gently start to massage your hands again.

Just slowly touching your fingers all the way to the edge of your fingernails.

Massage the palm of your hand now.

Just using the thumb of one hand to massage the palm of the other in gentle,

Fluid strokes.

Massage the palm of your other hand now with the thumb from the opposite hand.

Deeply,

Gently massaging the palm of your hand.

Place your hands together now as if they were joining,

Palm to palm.

Clasp your fingers over your knuckles.

Squeeze your palms together.

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze and then release.

Squeeze in again now,

Just joining them together.

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze,

Release.

Clasp your hands together one last time.

Squeezing the palms tightly,

Tightly,

Tightly.

Just really joining them together and let go as you release.

And just gently touching one hand on top of the other in soft,

Fluid strokes.

Gently massaging your hands together.

With each new breath.

Place your fingers now at your temples.

Gently rest your fingertips on your temples.

Just slowly,

Ever so slowly and gently massage your temples.

Just really letting go.

Slowly massage your temples.

Run your fingers through your hair,

Gently massaging your scalp.

Giving yourself a really,

Really relaxing head massage.

You're working your fingers from the front of your head,

All the way over the top of your head,

All the way down the base of your skull.

Fingers just resting against your head.

Slowly massaging your head.

Just release your fingers through your hair now,

Massaging and then releasing out.

Work your fingers down to your neck now,

Just really effortlessly using your fingertips to massage your neck.

Breathe in and let the tension just really release as you breathe out.

Breathing in and really letting go as you breathe out.

Move your hands over your shoulders now.

Squeeze your shoulders and then release as you let go.

Squeeze your shoulders,

Release as you let go.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Just gently ease your hands now to your arms,

The top of your arms.

Just squeeze and let go as you breathe out.

Just gently massaging one arm at a time.

Squeeze,

Release.

Moving your hand all the way down to your wrists.

Squeeze,

Release.

Squeeze,

Release.

Gentle fluid strokes down your fingertips.

Massage your other arm now,

Just starting at the top of your arm near your shoulder.

Just squeeze and release.

Squeeze,

Breathing in and letting go as you breathe out.

Gently massaging your arm all the way down to your wrist.

Squeeze,

Release.

Squeeze,

Release.

Breathing in,

Letting go as you breathe out.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Just gently stroking fingertips all the way down to your fingernails.

Breathe in,

Breathe in and out.

Just rest your hands now and just allow yourself to sit in this space or lie in this space.

Just simply to be in this space for as long as you need.

Just taking the time to breathe,

To relax and to be still.
