You have arrived at this space with a longing,

A yearning,

A deep desire to feel centered.

You are in search of feeling grounded.

Both already exist within you.

How can you more clearly see what upon cursory glance seems to be hidden?

I invite you to take this moment and situate yourself in a comfortable way.

Move out of your head and into your body.

Breathe.

Sense.

By giving yourself this time,

You are giving yourself the gifts of rediscovering your deep rootedness.

Re-establishing mind-body homeostasis and replenishing your much needed levels of nourishment.

Entire body.

Complete mind.

Complete self.

Continuous being.

All present here in this moment.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Perhaps with each breath cycle you can feel yourself turning inward.

A little bit more.

A little bit deeper.

A little bit clearer.

You may find yourself questioning when you turn inward,

What is here?

Or maybe you have ideas of what you want to find inside.

Perhaps you have ideas of what you do not want to exist within.

Along your brave travels inwards you may be saying,

I better not find.

All is right.

All is perfect.

Whatever is here at this moment is just as it should be.

You are always changing.

Evolving.

Folding in and blossoming out.

Take these moments and feel.

Truly connect your heart's mind with what exists at the intersection of centeredness,

Bright,

Illuminating,

Expansive,

Centered,

And sensations of gratitude,

Rooted,

Grounded,

Balanced gratitude.

When feelings of centeredness and gratitude intersect,

Here exists balance.

Balance each layer of your body.

Each cell.

Each mitochondria.

Each relaxing a little bit deeper.

Deeper into their form.

Draw attention to the soles of your feet.

What's here?

What sensations are coming into your awareness?

What are you tuning in?

What are you tuning out?

Inhale.

With your body and your mind's eye focused on the centers of the soles of your feet,

Perhaps you want to visualize a root system.

Your roots are strong,

Sturdy,

And connected between the earth and your body.

One benefit of this root system is genuine,

Pure,

Tranquil nourishment for your body.

Here is an intertwined system feeding all of your body and meeting all of your needs.

Just as sure as there is an interwoven root system below,

Extending beyond the soles of your feet,

Connecting you with the earth and providing feelings of groundedness.

There,

Too,

Is an expansive sky above,

Filled with droplets of gratitude.

As you draw your attention away from earth,

Away from your feet,

And travel through your body toward the crown of your head,

Allow yourself space to explore within.

Move deep within.

Engage in cellular curiosity.

What is here?

You have about 10 trillion opportunities to engage in deep exploration.

You have 10 trillion cells in your body protecting you,

Encouraging you,

Celebrating you,

Feel.

Take a bow to each one of your cells,

Offer a poignant thanks,

And then we will come back together to continue on our journey of centered gratitude by moving outside of your body.

Continue along your journey through your body and toward the crown of your head.

Visualize a string from the crown of your head extending high up into the celestial dome above and perhaps even beyond.

With your string extending upward,

Visualize it attached to something.

Maybe it's attached to a cloud or a star or a raindrop,

Maybe a bird,

A rainbow,

Perhaps a ray of sunshine,

Maybe it is attached to something else entirely,

Or maybe it's not attached to anything and yet attached to everything.

Perhaps one way to visualize these two spaces,

The earth below and the sky above,

Is to allow the ground on which you rest your feet,

Your feet from which deep nourishing roots extend far into the earth's core.

Allow this space to represent your past,

An amalgamation of histories and experiences,

Joys and sorrows,

And all of the dark and light in-betweenness.

Now,

Visualize moving outside of your body,

Beyond the crown of your head.

Into the comforting wild blue yonder,

The atmosphere above.

In this space,

Your future floats,

Drifts brilliantly,

Shapeless and freely,

An amalgamation of anticipations and projections,

Joys and sorrows,

And all of the dark and light in-betweenness.

Between these two,

Future and past,

There exists your current form of you,

Your physical,

Emotional,

Physiological and cellular self.

The present is a dynamic feedback loop between the past and the future.

Your past,

Your future,

Informed by and shaped by everyone else's past and future.

To further create a sense of groundedness in this present moment,

To strengthen your centeredness,

Feel a magnification of your appreciation wrapping around the kindness in others.

Go ahead and,

Whether physically or with your mind's eye,

Bring your hands with your palms facing one another to heart center.

With your palms together so soft,

You can visualize perhaps a thin piece of gentle fabric slipping right through the center of your two palms.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Feel your breath entering and exiting your body.

Inhale and begin rotating your palms outward and extending your arms out to each side of you.

Exhale.

Inhale as you begin raising your arms upward into the sky,

Feelings of openness and safe vulnerability.

Slowly and deliberately exhale as your hands begin to move closer to one another and travel in a downward motion.

Feel cleansing energy wash over you.

Your energy is sprinkling or pouring down from above.

You are your energy.

Inhale.

Inhale as you continue bringing your hands down.

Bring into your awareness feelings of centeredness.

Visualize the palms of your hands facing the earth and imagine pushing your rooted energy into the ground.

By massaging the entirety of your root system and in return,

Your root system provides for you the necessary nourishment and thanks your being requires.

Beautiful deliberate breaths.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Ground out your energy.

Ground out your energy.

Feel connected with the earth below.

Returning your hands to heart center,

Visualize all of the feelings and the energy of centeredness and gratitude growing ever so expansively within and around you.

Go ahead.

Do this one more time at your own pace,

Either with your mind's eye or physically manipulating your limbs or allow yourself to stay with your present feelings.

Continue unfolding your day or night in ways that serve your feelings of centered gratitude.

Radiating within.

Centered outward.

Centered here.

All now.
