Welcome,
This is your time.
A time to rest,
To breathe,
To soften.
You give so much,
You care so deeply,
And you carry more than most.
But right now,
In this moment,
There is nothing you need to do.
Nothing you need to fix.
You're here to simply be.
Find a comfortable position,
Whether seated or lying down.
Close your eyes and allow your body to settle.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
And slowly exhale through your mouth.
Let's do that again.
Inhale deeply,
And sigh it out.
One more time,
Filling your lungs,
And letting go completely.
As you continue to breathe,
Let your shoulders drop.
Let your jaw soften.
Let your hands rest.
This is a space of ease.
Now bring your awareness to your body.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath.
Notice any areas of tension,
Your neck,
Your back,
Your stomach.
With each exhale,
Imagine releasing a little bit of that tightness.
Picture yourself standing on solid ground,
Feet planted firmly,
Supported by the earth.
With each inhale,
Imagine drawing in warmth and strength.
With each exhale,
Let go of the weight you've been carrying.
Let go of expectations,
Of pressure,
Of the need to always do more.
You don't need to prove your worth.
You are enough,
Just as you are.
Now bring to mind the kindest,
Most compassionate words you would say to a dear friend who is exhausted,
Who has given so much.
Let those words become your own.
Silently repeat after me.
I am allowed to rest.
I am worthy of love,
Even when I'm not achieving.
I don't have to carry everything alone.
I am enough,
Exactly as I am.
Let these words sink in,
Not just into your mind,
But into your heart,
Into your body.
Now place one hand gently on your heart.
Feel the warmth beneath your palm.
Imagine your heart filling with a soft golden light,
Radiating kindness,
Care and self-compassion.
Breathe into that warmth.
Let it expand with each inhale.
You don't have to say yes to everything.
You are allowed to set boundaries.
You deserve rest,
Support and kindness,
Just as much as anyone else.
Take a deep breath in,
And slowly exhale.
As you return to the present moment,
Know that this space of self-love is always within you.
Whenever you feel overwhelmed,
You can return to your breath.
You can return to yourself.
You are strong,
But you don't have to be strong all the time.
You are loved,
Just as you are.
Now gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Bringing movement back to your body.
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Carry this softness with you today,
And remember,
You are enough.
