Hi love.
If you're here right now,
Chances are your mind is busy.
Maybe you're replaying something you said,
Something you did,
Or something you wish you had done differently.
Or maybe you're worrying about something that hasn't happened yet,
Running through scenarios,
Outcomes,
Conversations,
Possibilities.
So let's pause together for a moment.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
And a long breath out through your mouth.
And just let your shoulders drop a little.
Here's something important I want you to hear.
No matter how much you worry,
The outcome will be the same.
Worry doesn't change the result.
It doesn't protect you.
It doesn't prepare you.
And if the outcome is the same either way,
You might as well try to feel as good as you can while you're waiting.
Right now,
Whatever already happened,
It's history.
It's done.
And you can't change it.
And whatever you're afraid might happen,
It hasn't happened yet.
Your mind is filling in the gaps,
But those future scenarios are not facts.
They're just thoughts.
So let's gently come back to now.
Take another breath.
And ask yourself,
Quietly,
What is actually happening at this moment?
Right here,
Right now.
If you remove the replaying of the past,
And you remove the imagining of the future,
What remains?
Maybe you're sitting.
Maybe you're lying down.
Maybe you hear a sound nearby.
Maybe you feel your breath moving in your body.
In this present moment,
You might notice that you don't actually have a problem right now.
That doesn't mean your situation isn't real.
It just means that the suffering is coming from time traveling,
From living in what was,
Or what if.
And here's another gentle truth.
If you can control something,
Then do what you can.
Calmly,
Clearly,
One step at a time.
But if you cannot control it,
Your only real choice is to find peace with that.
Fighting reality only creates more tension.
So ask yourself,
Is there anything I can do about this right now?
A phone call?
A decision?
A boundary?
Next step?
If yes,
Acknowledge that.
You'll take care of it when the time is right.
And if the answer is no,
Then give yourself permission to let it go.
Just for this moment.
You don't have to solve your whole life today.
You don't have to figure everything out right now.
Your only job in this moment is to be here.
Take one more slow breath in.
And an even slower breath out.
Let your body soften.
Let your jaw unclench.
Let the mind rest for a moment.
You are allowed to wait without suffering.
You are allowed to trust that you will handle things when and if they actually arrive.
For now,
You are safe enough.
You are here.
And this moment is okay.
Stay here for a few breaths longer.
If this moment helped you even a little,
And you'd like more support like this,
I've created a course that gently explains how your nervous system works,
And how to work with it.
Especially when worry takes over.
You can find it on my profile,
If and when it feels right for you.
