Welcome,
Beautiful soul.
Find a comfortable position,
Either lying down or seated.
Close your eyes.
Take a moment to arrive.
Allow your body to settle into the earth beneath you.
Feel the weight of your body being held.
Release the tension from your jaw.
Let your shoulders soften.
Let the breath begin to slow naturally.
Before we begin,
I invite you to set an intention for this practice.
What do you need right now to ignite your inner strength?
Whatever arises,
Trust it and hold it in your heart space.
The breathwork technique for this practice is simple and activating.
You'll be breathing in through the nose for two counts and out through the nose for two counts.
We will do one breath hold on the exhale at the end of the practice.
This style of breathing gently energizes the body while keeping the nervous system grounded and regulated.
It helps build focus,
Presence and steady internal power without overwhelming the system.
If at any point the breath feels too much,
You can always slow it down and return to your natural rhythm.
Let's start with a few reset breaths to clear the slate.
Take a slow inhale through the nose and a beautiful big sigh out the mouth.
Again,
Inhale through the nose and sigh it out the mouth.
One more,
Take a deep inhale through the nose and a big sigh and let it go.
Now allow the mouth to close and bring the breath back in and out of the nose.
Here's something important to understand before we begin the active breathing.
Most people don't struggle because they lack motivation.
They struggle because they lose connection with themselves in the moments it matters.
They know what they want to change.
They know what would be better for them.
But when the moment arrives,
They feel tired,
Distracted,
Overwhelmed and they default.
Inner strength isn't about pushing through that.
It's about having enough presence in the body to stay with yourself instead of checking out.
That is what we are activating today.
When you are ready,
We will begin with the breath technique on my count.
3,
2,
1.
Take a nice inhale through the nose for 2 and exhale through the nose for 2.
In for 2,
Out for 2.
Find the rhythm.
Let the breath be steady and even.
No forcing,
No rushing.
As you breathe,
Keep your awareness in the body.
Feel the inhale gently energising you.
Feel the exhale keeping you grounded.
If the mind wanders,
And it will,
Just simply bring it back to your breath.
Inhale for 2,
Exhale for 2.
In and out,
No pause,
Just a continuous flow.
This is inner strength in real time.
No quitting the moment attention drifts,
But returning again and again.
Notice any urge to speed up,
Tense or do it better and let go.
Strength doesn't come from effort,
It comes from steadiness.
Feel the body waking up.
Energy beginning to move through the chest,
The spine,
The core.
This is the energy you need when life asks something of you.
When you want to breathe in,
Exhale all the way out.
When your lungs are empty,
I want you to hold the breath on the out.
No strain,
No forcing.
Rest in the pause.
This is the moment between impulse and action.
When you're ready,
Inhale slowly through the nose and return to a natural breath.
Let the breath soften.
Notice how your body feels now.
More awake,
More grounded,
More available.
Stay here for a few breaths.
This is inner strength.
Not loud,
Not dramatic,
But reliable.
Before we close,
Take one final deep inhale through the nose and a slow,
Steady exhale.
When you are ready,
You can slowly open your eyes.
Carry the strength with you into your day,
Into your choices,
Into the moment that matters.
With love and gratitude,
Thank you for being here on this journey with me.
