So let's go ahead and get ready to do a meditation.
Let's make sure we get out all of our wiggles.
Start by wiggling your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your legs.
Feel free to clap and smile and then let's get ready to sit as still as possible.
So go ahead and lay down or cross your legs.
Get super comfy.
Maybe snuggle up to your favorite pillow or blanket.
You are doing a great job.
Let's start by taking a deep breath.
So inhale air as much as you can into your belly and fill it up.
Once you have your full breath in,
Take a quick pause and hold your breath and then release it with a loud sigh and get it all out.
Good job!
How did that feel?
Let's try it again.
Take a big inhale in and fill your belly.
Breathe in and in and in.
Hold it for a second and then exhale out.
Go good job!
Now that we're settled in,
Let's think about something that made us happy today.
Feel free to close your eyes if that feels nice and center in with the way you feel.
What made you feel happy?
Maybe it was a friend or your parents or maybe your grandparents or cousins.
What happened today to make you happy?
Once you have it in mind,
Give yourself a big smile and say thank you.
Thank you to this moment for making me happy.
And now let's think about did anything make us feel kind of yucky?
Maybe sad or frustrated.
Maybe we were feeling a little bit mad and that's okay.
We're allowed to feel how we feel and you are doing a great job at feeling all of your feelings.
Now if something came up that maybe made you feel a little yucky,
Think about that.
Maybe why?
Ask yourself why did this make me feel kind of bad today?
And I'm assuming that it's because maybe you felt a little hurt and that's okay.
That's okay to feel hurt.
Hurt just means that you love and you care because you have a really big heart and you are very kind.
So give yourself a big hug and say it's okay.
It's okay to feel hurt or to feel sad or mad but I'm gonna allow myself to be happy and I'm gonna let go of whatever that feeling was and say thank you.
Thank you for bringing me back to myself so I can see how I feel and think because that's really important to check in with yourself.
Now let's take another deep breath in.
Inhale as much as you can and then hold and then a big sigh out and exhale.
Let's do that again.
Let's fill our bellies with air and breathe in and hold and exhale.
And let's end by giving ourselves another big hug and saying I love you and I did a really good job today.
