Hello and welcome to today's meditation,
Processing After a Breakup.
Let's settle into this moment.
Let's acknowledge how amazing it is that you showed up for yourself here today.
Go ahead and put your hand on your heart and ground into this moment.
Take a deep inhale in and sigh it out.
Another deep inhale in,
Feeling your chest rise and then sigh it all out.
Go ahead and rest however you are.
Put your hands by your side if you're sitting or lying down.
Just relax.
Relax your shoulders and your jaw.
Close your eyes.
Feel the surface beneath you that you're sitting or laying down on.
And be totally present with yourself in this moment.
Who am I without you?
I was once someone before I met you.
Through our experiences,
Lessons,
Connections,
Mistakes,
Failures,
Hurt,
Disappointment,
I became someone new.
On the other side of our experiences together,
I am choosing to find myself again.
I choose me.
Go ahead and take a deep breath in and exhale it all out.
Who is this new version sitting here in front of me?
What did I learn most about myself through this experience?
What did I learn about what doesn't work with someone else as a partner for me?
What did I learn about what I need from a partner?
As you reflect on the lessons learned,
Show yourself some gratitude that you tried,
That you opened your heart,
That you chose love,
That you shared these experiences with someone.
Because in doing so,
You trusted yourself.
You trusted yourself to love,
To connect,
To show up,
To share intimacy,
To be vulnerable.
What did this experience mean for you through this relationship?
Was it just a chapter to love again,
To feel free again,
To connect again,
To be seen,
To be of service,
To learn more about yourself?
What did this person teach you about you?
Each new connection and relationship is never like one we've experienced before.
Every connection and love is unique.
It's unique in its experiences,
Its expressions,
Its memory,
And its growth.
Where did all of this newness take you?
Who are you today?
Who am I without you?
The fact that you are on a new journey to find yourself again,
To fall in love with yourself again,
Is proof that they were not the right fit.
It was not the right relationship or the right time,
But you are always right where you need to be.
This life is meant to be lived with you.
Take a deep inhale through the nose,
Down to the belly,
Fill up with the breath,
And at the very top,
Sip in some more air,
Hold,
And then exhale it all out.
And again,
A big breath in,
Feel your body expand,
And then exhale it all out.
You are someone you can always count on.
You can always trust.
You can always come back to.
You are the one that has picked yourself up after every fall,
After every setback made a comeback.
You are the one that has made a new start.
You are the one that keeps growing and learning and connecting,
Maybe through others at times,
But always to come back to yourself.
Go ahead and place your hand back on your heart.
Feel this connectedness.
Feel the you that is inside of you that wants to connect with you,
And just be in your presence and receive your love.
Breathe into that heart space and feel your chest rise.
Feel your heartbeat.
You are your soulmate.
You are your best friend.
You are your life partner.
Say to yourself,
I am enough.
I am loved.
I am protected.
I am safe.
I am resilient.
Now,
In very deep breaths,
Envision this new person that you want to be.
Who are you going to become on the other side of this?
Taking the lessons,
The journeys,
The memories,
And the experiences,
And how are you going to embody that moving forward?
This new you is going to be remarkable and amazing.
This new you is worth loving and spending time with.
This new you is going to achieve everything your heart wants,
Deserves,
And desires.
Be kind to yourself.
And remember how loved and worthy you are.
