Welcome and ground into this space,
Get settled,
Get comfortable and when you have arrived take a deep breath in and a deep breath out,
You did it,
You have arrived for yourself.
Take a moment to show yourself gratitude for entering into this sacred space.
You are the reason you are here right now.
You gave yourself exactly what you needed.
Time to gather yourself,
Time to ground down,
Time to be present.
If you haven't already,
Feel free to close your eyes,
Get comfortable and allow yourself to rest,
Allow yourself to be.
You may want to resist this peace and this presence and show yourself grace,
If so,
It is hard to show up for ourselves,
It is hard to allow ourselves to be.
We are human beings,
Not human doings.
In a world that rushes us from one commitment,
Task and chore to another,
Moments like these where we slow down,
We connect to ourselves,
We allow ourselves to be,
Our gifts that we give our well-being,
We can't give what we don't have.
If we don't allow ourselves to have peace,
We can't be peaceful with others.
If we can't be patient with ourselves,
We cannot be patient with others.
Allow yourself to receive these gifts.
You can keep these gifts for yourself or you can give these gifts away,
But it has to start with you.
Where are you operating from?
Take another deep breath,
Inhale and exhale,
Your thoughts may wander because that's what our mind does.
If you catch your mind getting too busy,
Tell yourself it is okay and you are allowed to slow down.
Observe the mind and quiet it if you can.
Look at your thoughts like clouds passing by in the big beautiful blue sky.
They are allowed to exist,
But you don't have to attach to them.
You are not your thoughts.
You are the quiet,
Peaceful presence that observes those thoughts.
We are going to take an inhale on the count of four,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold at the top and release with a long exhale.
Show yourself some love for showing up,
For supporting you through your life and allowing this space for rest and presence.
Keep this grounding peace and presence with you throughout your day and make this day the best it can be because you will never live this day again.
Wish it thanks at the end of the day and then let it go.
