Welcome to your evening Unwind meditation.

My name is Veerle and I'm here to guide you on this beautiful journey.

First of all,

Take a moment to thank yourself for being here and allowing yourself to slow down and turn inwards.

Life can get busy sometimes.

Our mind can feel crowded or our body can feel tense.

By taking just a couple of minutes in your evening,

You can give yourself some peaceful quality time and really release any tension that you build up throughout your day.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Sitting or lying down,

Wherever you are.

Take a moment to settle in,

Feeling the support beneath you.

Whenever you're ready,

Close your eyes if you feel comfortable.

Let's take a few deep breaths to ground yourself and really tune into this moment.

Inhale deeply through your nose,

Hold,

And exhale slowly through your mouth.

Repeat this a few times,

Allowing yourself to arrive fully in this moment.

Inhale through your nose,

Hold,

And exhale,

Drop your shoulders.

If you feel that your breath is still a bit high in your chest,

Bring your hands to your belly.

Bring your breath to your belly when you breathe in.

Whatever feels good for you is perfect in this moment.

Take one more deep breath in,

Hold,

And release.

Come back to your natural breathing rhythm.

Now imagine that you're taking a shower.

However,

Today it's not a shower with refreshing water.

It's a gentle shower of positive energy cascading down upon you.

You're showered in white light that gently falls from just above the top of your head onto your crown,

Down on your face,

On your shoulders,

On your arms and hands,

And down the rest of your body,

All the way to your feet.

This shower of energy feels like a waterfall of light.

Feel it washing away the busyness and tension of the day.

Consider this energy shower cleansing and renewing your entire body.

The flow of this energetic shower calms down your mind.

As it flows over you,

Sense the weight of the day lifting,

Leaving you refreshed.

While the light falls over you,

You feel lighter yourself.

Anything that you want to let go of will be washed away from you with this energetic shower,

And it will be released into the ground.

Take a moment to enjoy this shower in silence.

As the energetic shower slowly fades,

Let's take a moment to reflect on everything that went well for you today,

Big or small,

It doesn't matter.

What is one positive thing that happened to you today?

What brought you joy or a sense of accomplishment or fulfillment?

It can be as simple as a ray of sunlight,

Or seeing a smile on someone's face,

Or the realization that,

Whatever happened today,

You're here now,

Enjoying this peaceful moment for yourself.

Feel this sense of gratitude for what is,

For being here,

Within you.

Bring your hands to your heart and feel the warmth,

Feel the inner light,

Feel the love inside of you.

Return your focus to your breath.

Inhale deeply,

Allowing the breath to fill your lungs,

And exhale,

Releasing any remaining tension.

Let's do this one more time,

At your own pace.

Inhale deeply,

And exhale.

Feel the peaceful rhythm of your breath,

Connecting you to the present moment.

As we bring this meditation slowly to an end,

Carry the calm energy with you into the night.

You are grounded,

You are refreshed,

You are resilient.

Whenever you need a moment of peace,

Remember that you can always come back to this space,

Enjoy this energetic shower.

Slowly begin to reawaken your body,

Wiggling your fingers and toes.

Whenever you're ready,

Open your eyes,

Taking the space around you.
