Reconnected is part of my mini meditation series for those short on time and looking for some gentle guidance. Use this meditation if you are feeling alone, lost, uncertain in any aspects of your life. It will support you in cultivating clarity and certainty to become whole.

Transcript

Hello and welcome.

This guided meditation is to assist in aligning you with your inner child and future self.

Let's begin.

Find a comfortable space where you will not be interrupted for at least 15 to 20 minutes.

This is time for you.

Bring your focus to your breath.

Allow your mind to clear and feel yourself breathing in and breathing out slowly and with purpose.

Breathe in and breathe out.

And with this breath,

I want you to start to relax your body and let all the tension go.

Feel your body sink into the surface beneath you,

Knowing you are safe and protected at all times.

Breathe in and breathe out,

Peacefully and calmly.

Breathe in,

Breathe out,

Relaxing your body.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

I want you to bring into your mind in front of you a large rendered white wall.

It's not overly high,

But it's high enough that you cannot see over it and it stretches for as far as the eye can see.

The wall is covered in ivy.

Now along that wall you will find a door.

Only you can see that door as it's protected because it's the door to your inner sanctum.

I want you to locate the door and I want you to see a large crystal doorknob.

It is stunningly beautiful.

It is so beautiful that it's mesmerizing and you want to reach out and touch it.

Do that now.

As you put your hand on the doorknob,

I want you to feel this overwhelming sense of peace and calmness and it makes you want to open the door and go inside.

Open the door and I want you to find yourself standing at the top of a spiral staircase.

Now this staircase can be made of anything you wish.

It can be wooden,

It can be steel girders,

It can be aluminium,

It can be crystal,

It can even be made of green thatched leaves and sticks if you want.

Anything you want as it's yours.

I'm going to count backwards from 10 to 1 as you take each step down that spiral staircase.

Ready?

Deep breath in.

That's it.

Taking the first step down.

9.

Slowly moving forward.

8.

Breathing in deeply.

7.

Exhale that breath.

6.

Going deeper.

5.

Reaching halfway.

4.

Moving down purposefully.

3.

Feeling your feet with each step.

2.

Another big deep breath.

1.

Reaching the bottom of the staircase and opening the wooden door in front of you.

And as you open the door you come out of an opening through a beautiful big old oak tree where you enter into the enchanted forest.

I want you to stand and breathe.

I want you to hear what you can hear.

See what you can see.

Feel what you can feel.

Smell what you can smell.

Hear the birds and the animals chattering.

This makes you smile.

See the wisps,

The fairies,

The nymphs playing and flitting around.

This makes you feel joyous.

Feel the fresh breeze blow gently across your face.

This makes you feel loved and safe.

Breathe in and smell the trees.

This makes you feel like you are home.

And connect your feet into Mother Earth.

Ground with her and become present.

Good.

Stand there and drink that in.

Feel the feelings and hear what you can hear.

Let's take a walk.

I want you to see in front of you as you walk forward.

I want you to walk over to a beautiful aqua blue stream.

It is so clear that you can see your reflection clearly like you were looking directly into a mirror.

And the water is so vivid and so vibrant that it connects to your heart and calls you.

It whispers your name.

Go and sit at the edge of the stream and put your feet in.

Feel the refreshing water touch your skin softly and gently at lapse.

Close your eyes and sit here for a moment and breathe in the beauty and the tranquility of your sacred space.

This space that is just for you.

How wonderful is it?

So beautiful,

So tranquil,

So relaxing,

So nurturing.

I want you to open your eyes and when you do,

I want you to see to your left,

Your younger you,

Your inner child and to your right is your future self.

I want you to hug each of them and as you say,

What are you guys doing here?

They tell you that they are here today to be fully integrated with you because for the longest time you've kept them separate,

Conversing with them independently of each other and not knowing that these are both very special facets of you and that make you whole and complete.

I want you to let each of them speak.

Your inner child going first.

What do you hear her tell you?

What is it that she has to say to you?

What do you need to know?

Is it that she loves you and appreciates how you keep her safe?

Is it that she longs to be with you?

Or is it something else totally entirely?

Listen to her,

Hear what she has to say and acknowledge her words and thank her for being here with you today.

Let her speak and listen with open ears.

Now it's future self's turn.

What wisdom does she have to tell you?

What do you need to know from her?

Is it that you're doing everything right?

Does she say you are amazing just the way you are?

Does she say you are perfect?

You don't have to provide or to be or to push.

Let her speak and listen to what she has to tell you.

When you have heard fully from both of them,

I want you to acknowledge them both and thank them for their kindness,

Their words and hug them.

As you're holding each of their hands,

One on the left and one on the right,

We are now going to merge them into you,

Right into your heart space and taking with you the words of wisdom that they had to tell you.

And you can carry that and them with you forever from this very moment on.

Good,

Breathe.

Merge them into your heart,

Bring them into that heart space one and then the other,

Holding them so dearly and so closely,

Letting them find their space in your heart.

Good,

Good.

Now with them fully merged,

I want you to stand and connect yourself to the ground beneath you.

I want you to stand fully present,

Feeling so powerful,

So strong in who you are and I want you to see a cord coming up from the ground and it goes straight up through your central meridian,

Through the whole centre of your body,

Coming up your body and out through your crown chakra and right at the top of your head.

This cord goes all the way up and goes right up into the heavens and connects in.

So connecting from mother earth to father above and as it connects it pulls taught and pulls you into full alignment with yourself and your sole purpose.

As you're standing there you're being open and present,

Ready to receive and move forward into this new chapter of your life.

I want you to take a moment here to breathe and to feel this in your body,

Land it in your heart space.

Take it in,

Drink it in,

Drink in the power,

The presence,

The divinity,

Your strength and who you are.

God,

When you feel this is merged,

I want you to put your feet back in that water,

Become fully present of self and we're going to bring you back into now.

So you're going to hop up and you're going to walk over to the big oak tree,

The one that you came out of.

You're going to find the door and I want you to go through the door and we're going to start to climb the stairs.

Climbing up,

Counting from each step from 1 up to 10.

Being fully aware of the direction you're going.

Step 4,

Breathing in.

Step 5,

Halfway breathing out.

Step 6,

Knowing who you are.

Step 7,

Climbing and moving forward.

Step 8,

Knowing your presence.

Step 9,

Coming home.

Step 10,

Stepping through the door of the wall that you came through.

Returning yourself back into now,

Into the space where you are.

Breathing in and breathing out.

Becoming aware of your surroundings,

Feeling what you're sitting on or laying on.

Wiggling your fingers and your toes.

Good,

Allowing your mind to wake up,

Come back into presence.

Opening your eyes,

Feeling complete,

Feeling wonderful,

Feeling present.
